Forgetful Maya & The Value of Patience
Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Maya. Maya was always in a hurry and never seemed to have enough time for anything. One day, she was rushing to school and accidentally bumped into Mr. Rabbit, a talking magical animal who lived in the area. "Sorry, Mr. Rabbit, I'm in a hurry," said Maya. "That's alright, Maya," replied Mr. Rabbit. "But remember, sometimes it's better to slow down and be patient." "What do you mean?" asked Maya. "Well, when you rush things, you're more likely to make mistakes. And sometimes, those mistakes can be dangerous," explained Mr. Rabbit. Maya wasn't convinced, "I don't make mistakes!" "Everyone makes mistakes, Maya. It's okay," said Mr. Rabbit. "But if you learn to be patient and take your time, you'll make fewer mistakes and be safer in the end." Maya didn't say anything, but she thought about what Mr. Rabbit had said as she rushed to school. On the way, she tripped and fell, and her backpack spilled everywhere. Mr. Rabbit helped her pick up her things and reminded her to take her time. Later in math class, Maya started to get impatient when her teacher took a long time explaining a math problem. She remembered what someone had told her about being patient that morning on the way to school and took her time, eventually figuring out the problem correctly. On the way home from school, Maya saw a beautiful butterfly flitting about. She tried to catch it but couldn't. She became frustrated and sad that she couldn't catch it, and it flew away. The next day, Maya met Mrs. Butterfly on her way to school. Mrs. Butterfly was crying, and Maya asked her what was wrong. "I lost my baby butterfly," said Mrs. Butterfly. "I was so busy flying around that I didn't realize that my baby wasn't following me. Now I can't find her." Maya felt sad for Mrs. Butterfly and decided to help her find her baby butterfly. She knew that Mrs. Butterfly was a fast flier and that it would be challenging to keep up with her, so Maya remembered what Mr. Rabbit had taught her about patience and took her time. She followed Mrs. Butterfly slowly, and after a while, they found the baby butterfly stuck in a spider's web. Maya carefully removed the baby butterfly from the spider's web and gave her back to Mrs. Butterfly. Mrs. Butterfly was overjoyed and thanked Maya for her help. Maya realized that if she had rushed, she would have missed the baby butterfly and wouldn't have been able to help Mrs. Butterfly. On the way home from school that day, Maya saw Mr. Rabbit rushing again. He was so happy to be going home to Mrs. Rabbit that he wasn't paying attention and tripped over a stone. Maya helped Mr. Rabbit up and reminded him about what he had taught her about patience. Mr. Rabbit realized that he had been rushing too much lately and that he needed to slow down and be more patient. Maya then told Mr. Rabbit about her experience with Mrs. Butterfly and how she had to be patient to help her. Mr. Rabbit smiled and thanked Maya for reminding him about patience and how it was essential to be safe and happy. From that day on, Maya tried to be more patient, and whenever she found herself rushing, she would remember to be more patient. She knew that being patient would help her avoid mistakes and stay safe, just like it had helped her help Mrs. Butterfly and Mr. Rabbit. Maya never forgot the life lesson about patience, and she knew that being patient was the key to a happy and healthy life.

THE BURNING PASSION NEVER DIES
Dawn....I stepped out in the rain looking at the ocean and this beautiful island I've been on for many years. I love how the waves flow with the water with grace and style. Nature is a lovely thing to watch; sometimes it can be deadly depending on the status. Every now and then I still reminisce about what happened on that dreadful day. It was one of the saddest days to see death before your own eyes. I still think about those days like it was just yesterday. My whole life existence had changed completely. My name is Naomi Lattimore, princess of King Lattimore of England, where I once lived. I was sitting outside on the balcony from my room, enjoying the breeze and bored out of my mind. Naomi laughed. My father came by to see how I was doing. How are you doing my little princess? I'm bored. Why? Well father, just being a princess waiting around to be married and have kids, is not exciting enough for me. I see. What would you like do more exciting? I would like to learn how to fight with swords. Are you serious? Yes! What would your future husband think about this? Should it matter father? What if something happens to him at the time? I need to be able to defend for myself. Okay my little princess, you make a great point! When do you want to start? Immediately! Okay, as you wish! McGregor! Yes, your highness! My daughter wants to learn how to fight and train with swords. Train her to the fullest and leave no room for error! Yes, your highness! Come along young princess!
