Our Empty Lungs
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. However, in this particular moment, a certainty arises for Alissa. Watching her brother float exposed through the vacuum of space, she is sure that his ungodly exclamations reverberate through her cowering ears. Then again, it’s probable that her mind calculated the details to which her ears could not. It’s a sight so visceral that disregarding its intricate detail would slight its brutal absurdity. His face contorts. A lower jaw dislodged off-kilter from the other and concocting a skew-whiff grimace. Such an expression is synonymous with a scream, or unearthly wail, yet refuses to quite correspond with the precise definition of one. In a morbid devotion to reality, Alissa doubts his lungs were even capable of evacuating the gasses necessary to scream. His skin crystallizes, blushing a glassy navy. Eyebrows risen, eyeballs wide. An expression of surprise etched between brow and chin, with fingers curling like a Falcon’s talon. Alissa fiddles with her threadbare restraints and tilts her neck from her brother’s demise. With this, a hand behind pugnaciously yanks it back into place – pressing her temple onto the window as she kneels. A lanky and broad window. Near encompassing one half of the ship’s hall, a cinema screen visual association with the backdrop of black projecting its grisly image. Her own face reflects upon it, tears streaming so briskly that they blend her own vision into an abstract kaleidoscopic characterization of reality. Above the rear clamor, begging, screaming and ire, her own body roars above the rest. They call it ‘Rubatosis’. The sensation of hearing, even feeling, your own heart pump. In a pace far too swift to maintain track. She even feels, or which she swear she can, her own blood boil.

Zone 3
Nobody can hear a scream from the deep vacuum of space, or so they say. Zone 3 Installment One His skin had a deep red undertone seen in certain lights and as he moved in subterranean worlds and across the uncertain grounds of unknown and hostile planets, he was like a tank with human origins.

Return to Eden
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. ‘They’ also say you will implode or freeze, or both, if you spacewalk without a suit. When I first heard this, I had visions of crimson crystals of frozen flesh and body fluids, and pale shards of bone and gristle, shooting out in all directions in endless flight until they collided with a planet. Or an asteroid. Or a piece of space dust. I am not macabre by nature – not really – but I think that there could be a certain beauty in this. A way of being in many places at once. God-like.

The Chronicles of Earl
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. I can tell you firsthand that this statement is true. None of us on the United Council of Intergalactic Space Beings, or U.C.I.S.B., heard the last screams of humanity, at least not in real-time. I did, however, manage to hear humanity's final screams, but only after consulting the Archive — but I am getting ahead.

Life Ends
Life’s End Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. Until one unfaithful night. The night was dark and silent, the air thick when the stars all fell from the sky, and as the stars fell the ground shook, I could see the sky open as galaxies and milky ways consumed the night. I could hear loud destructive and abrasive screams that filled the air as the summoner of worlds Axiom becomes into existence with a vengeance, by the opening of a black hole dark energy was released and settled with dark matter causing the birth of the summoner of destruction, as the stars landed, they became angels standing larger than life preparing for battle. Axiom is becoming enormous with all the fears and screams of human beings, with each step from Axiom the ground…No the whole world screamed and shook violently, while the equator up rooted and I saw Mother Earth in all her splendor breathing and ready to do battle beside the angels 02o9f heaven. I smell sulfur as Axiom comes fully whole with a shattering scream that sounded as if worlds were breaking apart all at the same time. With its green fiery eyes and massive then legs, human torso, and the head of a snake and panther with eyes that covered his entire torso, as if its face was throwing up from the twisting and wrenching from its obscure structure – fire encased the summoner like a suit or skin. The angel’s structure had begun pulsating as they all became one, in order to battle for our world and many others, as they run towards one another slamming into each other causing a catalytic charge that caused a blinding light that sent them soaring up high in the universe for all to see and with each blow, I saw parts of the galaxies as well as the world of worlds catch on fire with flames that reached into the heavens, the milky way and all the planets seemed to be in conflict, as the expanse began convulsing while the war continued from the heavens. The earth was on fire and with each blow Mother Earth trembled as she fought to consume and extinguish the fires upon her sanctuary, and then suddenly everything within the mist of existence was silenced, as the angels continue battling seeking to find a way to send Axiom back to the dark dimensions… A dimension of endless unrest. As I take a breath, I had come to the realization that I wasn’t dreaming, that I had died, and what I was seeing, and experiencing was the beginning… The beginning before God entered our realm to create our galaxy, our solar system, the time before, the time during and the future to come as I am floating upwards, I glance back to see the Earth in all its beauty and wonder, as it sits strong and forever existing my life had ended knowing how and why creation was born in our realm, because of the grace which is the Lords’. At that time in the future, when that day arrives, we will fight to save Gods’ Grace from this horrid apocalyptic reach beyond the stars, but in this future, I have seen the rebirth of the summoner of humanities destruction many, many light years away and at that time we shall be ready for the fight as the protectors of humanity. I am no longer in the world I stand as something greater as I spread my wings, I find rest and peace with my father in eternity.

Other Worlds
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. But nobody prepared me for how loud the sound of nothing would be when it escaped from my lips. I felt as if every celestial entity could feel the deafening wake of the pain that permeated from my body. It’s as if it was sending this force field of desolation throughout the entire cosmos. I felt as if my entire being was a beacon, pulsating outward an emptiness that could split the universe into two. It wasn’t just my mind that was oscillating out of control, but my body was spinning further and further into darkness as I propelled deeper into the cold nothingness that outer space provided. I wondered how I even ended up here, encapsulated by this odd spacesuit that temporarily protected my frail human body, plunging away from what you might consider home. Earth. His face flashes in front of me and I remain consumed by his existence. The reason I am even here in the first place, spiraling throughout the expansion of the galaxy. Him. He was the reason.

Humanity's Final Round
Lyra POV Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. For thousands of years, humans were safe on Earth. It was a rich, vast, bountiful planet filled with people of all walks of life. Humanity had achieved peace, finally on the up and end when it came to harmonizing as a species. We cultivated the lands, worked together, and for once pollution was on the decline, the greenery starting to engross the world in a more beautiful light.
