WHISPERS OF A FADED HEART
WHISPERS OF A FADED HEART Chapter one First love I was never a believer in love. To me, it was nothing more than a whimsical notion, a figment of our desires that existed solely within the pages of books and the illusion on screens. My innocence was so profound that I once thought kissing in movies was some kind of trick-computer-generated, for surely lips couldn’t meet when the nose stood as an obstacle. Yes, I was that naïve. But my perception was destined to change.

Heartfelt Garden Proposal: A Beautiful Love Story of a Boy Proposing to His Dream Girl
It was one of those warm, gold afternoons when everything and anything else visible seemed all the brighter. The sun hung low in the sky, shedding light that was soft and amber in its hues upon the expanse below. Birds flitted between trees, trilling their melodies, while leaves whispered secrets in the slight breeze. It was as though it was Arjun's day—perhaps it had been carved for love to be on this day.

Please Don't Leave
I peered my head around the corner, barely stepping in the bedroom. Bradley was sitting at his desk. I watched the two monitors light up with a video game I could never understand no matter how hard I tried. There had been so much tension in the house ever since he lost his job. After month six, I learned to stop trying to help. Stop encouraging him. Stop talking about it at all really. The more time went by, the more nervous I was to talk to him about anything. He was so easily set off and I didn’t know how to help. I had spent the day, just like yesterday- per his suggestion, finding things I liked to do alone. He wanted me to learn to be alone so I didn’t need to be around him so much. The problem was, the further he pushed me away, the more I wanted him. I could go week, even months, without attention or affection from him but with every passing day, I yearned for a time when he used to truly love me. I had never felt so lonely while not being alone.

The Garden of Memories
In the rolling hills and oaken wood of Eldergrove, in the hamlet village, was a house with an exceedingly large garden that belonged to Clara and Daniel. Silent Footsteps
The once-grand estate on Willow Lane had been deserted for years, its ivy-covered crumbling exterior. But nobody, not even on a dare, ventured inside.
