I've always found it funny whenever I received a letter from the Department of Social Protection, welfare that is, proclaiming how I am invited to an exciting employment activation scheme… or else I may have my jobseekers allowance cut. They never outright say it, but it's heavily implied. My theory is they can't outright say they will cut it. The Survivor
The tide rolled in and submerge a pair of boots, followed by torn pants, then a burned stomach. The salt water sunk into burned flesh and sent a painful shock throughout an unconscious man, forcing him awake. The man sat up, at first in pain, then shock, then amazement. He looked at the sky. The last time his eyes absorbed a blue sky was almost 4 years ago and for a moment he thought he must be dead or dreaming, but the agony from his injuries indicated that he somehow survived, if only barely.
