His hands left the paper, though it remained floating in the air in front of him, and he began to write on it as if it had been pressed to a hard surface. Upon finishing, he stowed the writing utensil in a pocket on his shirt and grabbed the paper from the air. He turned it towards her and pointed towards the lettering before pointing back at himself - the letters were familiar, tugging at memories that were buried in the past. She noticed the last word was spelled “wyrm,” though still pronounced the way she had imagined it. He pointed to the words as he repeated what he had said earlier, then pointed back to himself as the realization dawned on her. It was his name. “King…ston Wyrm,” she repeated the words back to him, and his ever-present smile grew brighter and more excited.

The bright lights that bore their way down through the crack of what was assumed to be a reliquary were almost blinding as its lid was slowly moved to the side. Eyes long closed opened to them, dazed and confused as to what it might be—a pale hand, whose black fingernails were long and sharp as claws, raised to cover them. There were voices just outside, talking excitedly in a language she couldn’t quite recognize. It was familiar, but not one she knew well; some of the words were different from what she could recall. Her golden eyes adjusted to the light, the narrowed slits of her pupils becoming wider as they grew used to it. Through the opening of the top, she could recognize the lights as magic - small white glowing orbs floating through the air, bathing their surroundings with comforting luminescence to aid those opening her… tomb? Was she in a tomb?

One afternoon, Galian was engrossed in watching Naruto when his grandfather called out to him abruptly. Startled, Galian inquired about the reason for his grandfather's agitation. "Hey, Galian," his grandfather exclaimed, "you have to go to school today." "Why are you shouting, Grandpa?" Galian responded, puzzled. "I informed your mother yesterday, but it seems she forgot," his grandfather explained. Perplexed, Galian questioned the necessity of attending school when online classes were available. "No, you must go for the vaccination camp," his grandfather clarified. Realizing the urgency, Galian rushed to prepare, fretting over the limited time. Upon arriving at the school for vaccination, Galian noticed a girl with long, radiant hair at the gate, her face partly obscured by a mask. Intrigued, he couldn't shake the feeling of familiarity, despite not recalling seeing her before. As he queued for vaccination, he spotted the same girl once more. Puzzled by his inexplicable interest, he brushed it off and returned home, fatigued but unable to shake thoughts of her from his mind. Several months passed, and Galian resumed his routine, anticipating the reopening of schools despite his aversion to them. His school experiences had been marred by bullying, and his academic performance had been mediocre at best. On the first day back, Galian mused about the prospect of a fresh start, hoping to leave past grievances behind. Reconnecting with old friends, he navigated the corridors with a mix of apprehension and determination.
