Represented
It was also somewhere whilst watching the movie Moonlight that I had an epiphany regarding the issue of queer representation. The film in question is about a heterosexual black male gangster who comes to terms with his sexuality in spite of the pall that the society casts. The violence of the film was incredibly personal especially when recounting the age-old dilemma performance of the LGBTQIA+ community all the more in more hostile environments.

The Spotted Seal Tavern
I didn't know what to expect when I had to stoop low into the bar. But what I got, was a lot of eyes staring at me. The eyes were odd. Like, they looked normal, till you glanced away, and the eyes would have a yellow sheen to them, not white.

Plastic is terrible for us 😨
Please like and Rating my content Plastic has significant negative impacts on the environment, human health, and wildlife. It takes hundreds of years to decompose, accumulating in landfills and oceans. Over time, plastic breaks down into microplastics, contaminating soil, water, and air. Millions of tons of plastic waste end up in the ocean each year, creating "garbage patches" and harming marine life. Animals often mistake plastic for food, leading to ingestion that can cause choking, starvation, or poisoning. Entanglement in plastic waste can injure or kill wildlife.

The Last Page
Sarah fought her way through the unyielding sheets of rain that fell on the cobblestoned avenues of Oldtown, her umbrella just barely preventing a downpour from soaking her to the bone. The charming narrow streets and the dozens of centuries-old buildings had always made it an enjoyable place to stroll, but tonight, something about them felt oppressive. Memories of stories about the haunted old library at the end of the street with its ghostly wordsmith crept up her spine, making her shiver.

The Fool's Game
Trust ain’t nothing more than a game, boy. You place your bets and throw down your cards and pray you’ve played your hand right. The other players are doing the same thing. Don’t matter if they’re keepin’ tight-lipped, cards close to their chest; or if they’re talking bigger than their strewn-out cards allow… in the end everyone’s got something to hide.
