Mysterious Lake
This is a tale of a boy who died about ten years ago. Now his spirit haunts the lake, and no one knows why. There are a lot of mysteries surrounding this town. The townspeople never even bothered to find the reason for all the missing kids over the years either. Every day for a month, children disappeared, and nobody seemed to care. They'd just cover it up like nothing ever happened. The parents were in denial and moved away every time this occurred. The entire town feared what might happen to them if they snooped. So, they left everything alone and went back to their normal lives, as if nothing went on at all. Everyone stayed to themselves. This town was full of secrets and lies. It was believed that a boy had wandered away from his parents and ended up drowning in the lake. Then he swore revenge upon the town that he kills their kids until the mystery of his death was solved.

Elmer the Tree
"Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! It is spring! "Liz yelled excitedly. "Why are you yelling?" Asked Ben. "I am excited because I cannot wait to go outside to play. It has been a few weeks, and it is finally warm enough to go out. After all, mom did say when all the snow melted and it was dry and warm, we could go out to play. Yay! I love exploring after winter!" Liz happily explained.

A Bad Kill
There weren’t always dragons in the valley. It mattered little now, but the elders liked to lament that fact. Then again, as far as Harjo could tell, that’s just what elders do; lament the past. 300 years ago, she heard Waketseh preach, before the Year of the Cold Sun, the Four Winds had kept their great sky snakes from straying past the Crying Mountains. Now, slithering along the vaulted tree line of the Forest of a Thousand Hollows, they loomed above all the creatures of the Crooked Sky Valley. Fallen Roots, just as every chief before him, said they served the spirits as punishers; and the chief said it, so it must be true.

The Dragon's Destiny
There weren't always dragons in the Valley. Jordyn watched from above as three strangers, dressed in ornate flowing silk robes in a rainbow of colors, strode into the council chamber. He gripped the ceiling joist as he spied. The ancient oak felt familiar under his hands.

The Dragon Throne
There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. I would like to tell you someone else was responsible for them overruling the land, but sadly I cannot. For over a hundred years the only unusual thing anyone has ever seen was some missing chickens. One day, Farmer John had a barn full of glorious chickens and the next morning they all vanished. This had nothing to do with me or my mishap. In fact, a few weeks ago I could have easily said that I would never in my life unleash any kind of monsters or beasts upon the Valley. That was a few weeks ago though, I cannot say that is the case now. This is why I’m presently standing before the court of the King and Queen pleading for my life.

The Secret Hiding In The Lake
There weren't always dragons in the Valley. Shadow Lane was a very quiet valley with only a few hundred people scattered about. The lake is the spot that the entire village would go to for all the best celebrations. It seemed smaller when walking around the full lake just for a breath of air. Staring across from the celebration spot there was a hidden secret that was peeking out. The lake seemed so much bigger looking out than it looked on the walk around.

Descendants of Theeb
There weren’t always dragons in The Valley; once, it was a peaceful subsidiary to the larger realm of Eurvhime. Nonetheless, they are here to stay; the elders often say they are a blessing of the gods and a curse to man. The dominating quadrupeds sought asylum from none other than Ouranos when the dust settled following The War of Numina. Even after his kindness, their posture towards humans has been ever tainted by the ill will of the Reimkin who, for all their might and cunning, were no more than mear humans whose eyes fell upon that which they did not own nor would they deserve. Though the scaled wonders lived in harmony with Ouranos, his departure, yet shrouded in mystery and unexplainable events, has left them more volatile than the previous histories would lead one to believe. They are indeed beasts of wisdom, age, and unequivocal might; only an unfortunate soul to be pitied or a blundering fool would wade openly into their nesting place.

Art Is An Act of Evolution
There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. Not that you could see, anyway. Okay, so I’ll tell you my story, but there are a couple of things we need to agree on before I spill it. Number one is that you can’t reveal my real identity. You need to give me a name. Like Banksy or D*face or Combo. I’m no idiot. Just because a kid is born and raised in the Projects doesn’t mean they’re stupid. I gotta protect myself. And them.

Gods Do Not Die
“There weren't always dragons in the Valley.” The fire crackled, casting shadows across the deep folds of the sage’s face. He shuddered, the winter winds raking his frail frame, sinking into his bones. Still, it was the Frostmourn, and he must tell his tale, “At least, we didn’t call them dragons. We called them Gods. What else could they be?
