Dragon 3: Tide of the Black Moon (1)
"No, we are not that rash. Since everything is just speculation, the safest way to go before having a more definite conclusion is of course to survey the underwater robots remotely. But every time the underwater robots approached that seabed they lost control, and we recovered the underwater robots to find their circuitry inexplicably fried. This added to the evidence that what was on the sea bed was a dragon embryo, because legend has it that ancient dragons would unfold some kind of field to protect themselves during the hatching process, and those who stepped into their field would experience fatal hallucinations. Biologically speaking, hallucinations are all down to the fact that the cerebral cortex is stimulated, and the easiest thing to stimulate the cerebral cortex is electricity."

Dragon 3: Tide of the Black Moon (1)
"Fortunately the rescue helicopter arrived a few minutes later and I woke up to doctors saying I had suffered an extreme cold. I did a face-to-face dance with death and inhaled the cold air it exhaled, 200 degrees below zero, so cold it almost liquefied. Instantly half of my face was necrotic, my brain temperature dropped to below zero, my blood froze, and the chances of survival were one in a thousand. The doctors did their best to save my tongue, and during the operation my airway was as brittle as a mummy's skin, completely shattered at the touch. I had to wear an oxygen mask at all times and replace my plastic airway every two or three years, or I would have died of respiratory failure.

The Red Cliff sheep is a unique species in the world because of its gentle temperament and peculiar coat color and is therefore extremely valuable. Unfortunately, the number of red sheep is so small that there is only a small group of them living in the narrow valley of the Nahu River. The local mountain people also know that the Red Cliff sheep is a world-class rare animal and never harm it. The ewes give birth to two litters a year, each with two or three lambs, and their fertility is considered high in the bovine family. There was a terrible breathing sound on the other end of the line, a chilling sound, like broken bellows being forced open. The man's lungs were so full of holes that students at Cassell College described his breathing as "like hearing a dried-up corpse come back to life.

Looking in the direction he pointed, the sea level hidden in the black clouds suddenly lit up like burning, the line where the sky and the sea meet was especially bright, almost like sunlight projected on the sea. Then it was like a palace floating up in the sea, the exquisite buildings were brightly lit, more brilliant than any mirage, and the sky and the sea were illuminated in dazzling white by those palace-like buildings. The Moriah began to slow down, and the palace in the sea opened its welcoming door.

Fall of the Minotaur
Blood dripped from his freshly broken horn. He could not tell if he was in any real pain, the hit had disoriented him, but he was annoyed. The Conquerer, Slayer of the dark. The Father of battle. All names and titles given to him by those he had bested. He never cared for the titles, or the fame, or glory, His only real joy, his true purpose was the fight. But all of it was brought to a halt in one instant. He was tired, his nerves ached in a way they had not since he first held his da's sword. He could hardly catch his breath. Despite all of this his foe remained, unhurt, unscathed, as if they had not spent the last three hours fighting tooth and claw, horn and hoof. He lifted his mighty axe, then gave two sharp swings. The pain radiating from his shoulder caused him to pause a moment, someting was off. He looked down and noticed a large chunk of wood coming from it. Slamming his axe into the wall next to him reached back and removed the large chunk from his shoulder. He let out a quick grunt as the chunk of wood fell to the floor. Blood now poured from his right shoulder. He didn't care, he paid it no mind. He had blocked the last hit from his foe with nothing but the hilt of his axe. The hit was enough to send him flying across the broken village they were fighting in. He stood tall and loosed a mighty roar and charged forward.
