E M E R G E
E M E R G E (Play Thunderstorm at Sea from youtube) The sun winked at me just before it snuck away below the horizon. It was tired of the show and decided to go to sleep and left a beautiful red/orange/yellow reminder of its time above the ocean waves.

The Teller
“In twelve days, you’ll find everything you’re looking for, Ms. Harmsworth. You’ll be able to pay everything back in no time at all,” I told her. The future I saw for her was bleak, unable to pay back the loan the bank was going to give her, so they would foreclose on her house and sell off her assets. It didn’t matter to me, the bank was paying me to ignore the negative visions and use my reputation as the world’s greatest psychic to convince people to take a loan.

The Saving Grace
“Captain?” I look around the wheelhouse. “Yes?” My voice is groggy. I must have fallen asleep earlier. I sit up looking at my first mate. He is a handsome man. Chiseled jawline, ocean blue eyes, and short black hair that always hung to the right of his face. I looked him up and down and he was really well put together. He was in his uniform. White shirt with arrows on his sleeves in tight-fitting black trousers.

Pinky's Pumpkin
A sigh echoed in the air perfumed by an irritating aroma of spice that makes one want to gag. A curvy leg kicked out into the air and lazily bobbed up and down as its owner relaxed even more against a eggplant colored couch. The muted sounds of a show broke the stillness of the quiet a few minutes later.

The Phoenix Chronicles
For as long as Ayalet could remember, she’d always dreamed of flying. She longed for the freedom that seemed to come with the idea of flight. Constantly looking up at the sky with jealousy and longing in her heart to see the birds high above gliding through the air with ease. Ayalet envied them and sometimes imagined what it would feel like to have wings of her own. The feeling of wings pulsing from her shoulder bones as they drummed to the wind around her. When she would close her eyes at night, sometimes it really felt like she was flying. Sometimes when she woke up, her back would feel as if it were aching and sore. As the day would wane, the soreness would fade with the memory of the dream.

The Phoenix Chronicles
The angels of folklore are but stories, exaggerated tales of the air elemental beings called Seraphs. Angels of this story are not restricted to Heaven just as they can be more than pure. This story is about love, loss, learning and resurrection.

Awaking
The wet grass forced its cold embrace deep into the child as he stumbled around the tiny clearing, confused, and scared, tears slowly crawled down his face. He awoke just moments ago not where he went to sleep but in a new place somewhere he had never been. He listens as sounds that he had never heard before caress his ears, birds waking from their slumber, wind through the leaves, these are not the sounds he remembered not the harsh bleating horns, the rumble of voices, the bangs and crashes as the train rolls by, the constant chaos of his world.
