Wolves Edge
Brrr, so cold. What went wrong with the decision to pass off our land to another more sinister bearing down on us, leaving to find a place where we could live in peace, and not have to raise up our howls in battle cries? Just a few simple words, "we wish not to fight on a pointless death". My father spoke those words with such passion and with no signs of aggression that it made me proud to be his son, though I was different than all the rest. Being in a pack of wolves whose fur shone like the brightest moon and was as hardy as the toughest ground, we were sure no harm would come to those of a smaller set of beasts with less to fight with. Even myself with my unusual tail and slightly blue fur believed that I was more than a match for any of these invading brutes. But alas, everyone fell for their deceiving appearance including myself.
