So The Story Goes...A Flash In the Dark
As Jaylene rushed the kids into the back of their dusty green sedan, Carl set some rudimentary traps along the kitchen window and kitchen door. There was only one way into the house from the back garden. Although it was just a spark of light that caught him unaware and forced him into action, he knew what it meant. They would soon be here, and while he wasn't one to back down from a fight, he had to stay focused on getting Jaylene and his two daughters, Maya and Adina, to safety.

Time’s Mysteries & Paradoxes
Time has always been one of humanity's most captivating mysteries. The concept of time stretches far beyond clocks and calendars; it touches on the nature of existence itself. Time’s paradoxes and the seemingly unfathomable nature of its passage have inspired philosophers, scientists, and thinkers throughout history. Chapter 5: What am I? Gary’s eyes started to flutter open slowly as he was regaining consciousness. The first thing he saw were some very tall trees above him. The sky was gray, making it hard to tell if it was just about to turn to night or whether it would soon be day again. As he lifted up his body, he noticed the sound of ruffling, which turned out to come from the many leaves underneath him.
