Adventure
Bagged 1
I felt rumbling deep within my chest. Rushes of train wheels turning against metal flowed in and out of my ears. Something heavy hit the floor jolting me out of my sleep. I tried to move, but I was trapped somewhere. I started hitting the walls around me; they were thin and soft. Swallowing back my panic, I felt around the seams slowly, finding the back of a zipper. I clawed the zipper until it was open enough that I could see out of the corner. It was dark. I slowly unzipped the rest of the zipper and crawled out. Why the hell was I in a suitcase? Something clanged a few feet ahead of me. I sat up straight and looked around. Another massive suitcase had fallen over. Wait… where am I? I slowly stood up, trying to steady my feet. Am I moving? I blinked a few times trying to adjust my eyes to the darkness. There was sunlight flashing through the cracks in the room. I reached for my pocket to get out my phone to use as a flashlight. I felt my other pockets for my phone. Shit.

Train of Thought.
I felt my cheek peel stickily from the cold floor of the train as I rose from my prone position. I began to look around the train cart searching for something to tell me where I was supposed to be headed. There was framed image that showed the train’s “Schedule”, schedule was an overstatement as there were times listed but no destination paired with them. I then began to look around for other passengers so I could ask what was going on, I didn't remember boarding a train, for that matter, I didn't remember… anything. There was no one else in this cart with me, “just what's going on here?” I began to worry.

Why Didn't the Train Stop?
It was the year 1872. The Express train seemed to fly over the plains of England. The sun's rays entered the windows of the train cars, waking up the sleepy passengers. In a dark corner of wagon number 2, a man about 40 years old was sleeping peacefully on a bench. He seemed to be a rich gentleman. The clothes were made of quality fabric and were skillfully sewn. A silk handkerchief was sticking out of his pocket. His beard was cut short and his hair was carefully combed. Next to him was a large and heavy suitcase made of fir wood. Suddenly the train stopped. A ticket collector shouted:

The Reaching Well
Emer didn't answer when Devon knocked. “Is it the end, this time?” she says. She eyed the glint from the chipped gilded moulds lining the cabin ceiling. Once grand accommodations, now dilapidated ornaments to parse idly through while stealing moments of sleep between quiet lulls of retreat.
