Staying, Staring
Flash fiction from 2016 - Exactly 100 words
A dark night. He watches her. She takes another swig of whisky and looks out the window. She doesn’t see him there - standing still silently staring -eyes millimeters from her own, only separated by a thin layer of easily shattered glass. Darkness is his protector, light her betrayer.
She finishes her drink and curls up on the coach, facing away from him. He stares at the paper white skin of her tailbone peaking through her twisted, slightly lifted shirt and the pink line of her underwear emerging from her sweatpants.
He turns. Walks to the door. Picks the lock. Click.

DO MORE OF THESE! WOW! Horror as 100 word story...Now, that is something I have not seen or tried yet. Do you imagine expanding this one at all? I mean, it works, absolutely. But...like...it kinda feels like a teaser too? Lol! I'm just fan-girling, don't mind me.
