A shadow disturbs her grief and fear takes over; she's no longer alone.
He doesn't speak, just kneels. Several emotions cross his face. Guilt? Remorse? She doesn't know.
He shouldn't be here; it's illegal. But it has never stopped him before. Why would it now?
A lifetime passes before he stands to leave. Her eyes are still on the grave when suddenly he's whispering in her ear. She flinches at his proximity, trembles at his words.
"You're next, baby."
