Sky River Journey

A long time ago, legend has it that there was a river called the River of Heaven, which was not only a major transportation route in the sky but also a necessary route to the Kingdom of Heaven in the human world. It is connected with the earth somewhere in the ocean, in which there are many logs floating on the surface of the water, and humans can use these logs to get to the heavenly kingdom.

Many people wanted to see the divine wonders of the River of Heaven, but no one could ever find that place where the sea is connected to the sky, so to see the River of Heaven, they had to go after it in their dreams. It was not until Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty that he actively sent many people along the sea to find that connected place.

After several years, this place was finally discovered by a man named Zhang Qian. He was overjoyed and looked around, only to see the blue water, clear as a mirror, refreshing; the water was floating with large, round logs, like countless rafts, waiting for people to ride!

Zhang Qian then stood on the log, the log is as stable as a rock as if there is a power to manipulate it, not only can walk on the water, and can also fly in the sky, and the speed can be controlled by themselves.

Zhang Qian thought: "Take this opportunity to sneak around a little, it is not a trip to this!" The idea was made up, shook the body, the log will sail to the sky river.

After some time, it seems that the sea has reached its end, he grabbed the front of the log and flew into the air. In a short time, he saw a silver river far away, and flew to the east, and saw a house made of glass, in which a beautiful woman was sitting and weaving.

After flying for a long time, he saw another glass house similar to the one in Hedong. While looking around, he saw a strong and tall youth, leading a cow, coming to the river to drink water. Zhang Qian went up to him and asked politely, "Excuse me, sir, what is this place? Why are there only two families so far away from the east and west?"

"It's none of your business if there are a few families! How did you barge in here?" The youth said nonchalantly.

"I came here unintentionally, and in no way did I mean to infringe on you." Zhang Qian spoke carefully.

"Go back quickly and ask Yan Junping of Shu, and you will get a satisfactory answer."

When Zhang Qian wanted to ask more questions, the youth showed a very impatient look, turned around, and disappeared.

Zhang Qian saw that the river was endless, and he was as small as a grain of rice in it. The dry food brought, will soon be eaten, rather than spend here waiting for death, it is better to take advantage of now there is still something to eat, when the energy to go back, report to the emperor, I am also considered to have delivered.

He also thought, "Strange? How do the people who live in the east and west of the river sustain their lives? Could it be that they are all immortals?" While thinking this, he drove the log and flew back the way he came.

Zhang Qian sat on the log, and after a long time, he finally returned to the sea. I saw that the shore was crowded with people, cheering loudly.

In the atmosphere of cheering, Zhang Qian paid a visit to Emperor Wu and reported to him what had happened in detail; Emperor Wu listened with great interest and asked, "The place you arrived at is probably the Tianhe River, right?" Zhang Qian replied, "The young cattle herder I met there said that if I go back and ask Yan Junping of Shu, I will know where it is."

So Emperor Wu sent someone to Shu to look for Yan Junping. It turned out that Yan Junping was an astrologer who knew astronomy and geography. After listening to him, he said, "Congratulations! The two people Zhang Qian met, the woman is the Weaving Maiden and the man is the Cowherd, he has completed a trip to the Heavenly River!"
