Mind Blowing Movies :

Thought-provoking movies are also known as mind-bending movies. Among the different genres in motion pictures, mind-bending movies are the most talked about movies as they are not easy to make. It needs to have a few essential qualities.

A good mind-blowing movie is that the audience should be moved enough to remember, discuss, and debate the plot-lines, the acting, or the flow of the story.

I recommend a list of the films below. Many of the movies in this list have won or been nominated for achieving this place.

10. LUCY

A fantasy about unlocking 100 percent of the brain’s potential

Scarlett Johansson plays a woman whose freshly unleashed brain gives her superpowers. The premise of film Lucy is based on the theory that humans use only 10 per cent of their brain's actual capacity. The thought of what would it be like if humans could use a total of 100 per cent of their brain. It contains all traditional elements of good science fiction.

The final ten minutes play like a Greatest Hits of science-fiction movies. In fact, you'd be hard pressed to identify one idea, scene or element in the picture that is not a cliche

9. Groundhog Day:

“A weatherman finds himself living the same day over and over again.”

Harold Ramis's 'Groundhog Day' is a wonderful, meaningful film, that also offers loads of entertainment. The movie shows that it is the repetition of days itself, which pushes us forward in our own maturation as we start to encounter the same things over and over again.

The reason I like Groundhog Day is Weatherman learns to think of others instead of himself. It's the Golden Rule. He's given a gift of having to repeat the same day over and over until he discovers his purpose.

I think the biggest thing that affects people is the fact that Weatherman is presented with the exact same day and the very first time he's presented with it, it's probably the worst day of his life. And, by the end of the movie, we see that it's the exact same day but somehow this is probably the best day of his life.

The movie says, Life is a gift . You can choose to use it selfishly for personal gain, or you can use it to help others. The choice is up to you.

7. Looper:

The story is innovative in its concept of using time travel to maintain ranks in crime syndicates.

In the near future, time travel has become possible. But it’s not used for the good of the world. Mobsters use it to dispose of their victims in an epic fashion.

In 2044, 25-year-old Joe works for a Kansas City crime syndicate as an assassin, or "looper." Since tracking systems in the future of 2074 have made it nearly impossible to dispose of bodies undetected, the syndicate sends its enemies back in time to be executed.

Overall, a well-constructed story with amazing acting and beautiful cinematography. it certainly deserve your attention.

6. Arrival:

Smart, gripping film with startling twists and imagery.

Arrival is a science fiction drama movie about an extraterrestrial arrival to earth. The movie differs from other alien movies of its genre as it speaks of working together in peace rather than war. The story begins with the arrival of the 12 alien ships across nations. Each of them prepares to open communication and also an attack if the former fails.

Arrival takes off from this insight in an undeniably sci-fi direction that is a little brain-bending, improbable in the best way.

Like all the best sci-fi, Arrival has something pertinent to say about today's world; particularly about the importance of communication.

Over all Arrival has some stunning imagery and effects to play around with, but instead it focuses on language and conversation. It focuses on humanity and time and memory, and all that is worth fighting for on this planet. It is a breathtaking achievement.

5.The Prestige:

Sci-fi psychological thriller involving the one-upmanship and rivalry between two magicians.

Alfred and Rupert are two rival magicians in 19th century London. When Alfred performs the ultimate magic trick, Rupert tries desperately to find out the secret to the trick.

The two men become sworn enemies before eventually becoming locked in a deadly competition to pull off the ultimate illusion, known as The Transported Man.

The Prestige is a film that you need to watch at least twice. And that's not just because it's a fantastic movie. You will view the film in a different light after the first viewing. You'll notice things that you didn't the first time you saw it.

Rating: 95%

4. Predestination:

The story of a time-traveling crime fighter whose last case is the most mind-bending of all his cases and how he reveals the truth makes the crux of it.

Predestination is about the life of a temporal agent who travels across different time zones, catching criminals and fighting crime.

Predestination is a very good sci-fi film. I enjoyed it very much, but I should warn you...it's very strange and a bit confusing. This doesn't mean it's bad...it has lots of neat twists and turns and is worth your time. the film that you need to watch at least twice.

Rating: 94%

3.Tenet :

Tenet is an intense blockbuster that doesn't let up, and we're swept along with the momentum of it all. Don't try to understand it, just feel it

Movies explains When an item is sent through time travel device, it begins to travel backwards in time at a constant pace. The same is applied to humans.

Tenet is the name of the organization that the Protagonist himself created more on that in a bit to keep the earth's timeline flowing correctly. It's also an interlocking hand gesture that indicates the flowing of time backward and forward, and a palindrome that's spelled the same way in either direction.

The film exhibits much brilliance. The heavy lifting is done, including an excellent soundtrack.

Rating: 97%

2.Interstellar:

Extra ordinary , Science fiction epic movie

A team of explorers travel through a wormhole in space in an attempt to ensure humanity's survival.

In the distant future, the earth is no longer livable, and humankind has set out to the far reaches of the galaxy to find a new home for the human race.

They travel to different planets before returning home and finding that they have not aged the same way as their family.

Time & space , these are two very important phenomrnon which kept humanity think for thousand of years about this vast infinite universe and to find out its unapproachable interstellar destinations like solar system , milkyway , planets , blackholes ,etc.

Highly talented great film maker Christopher nolan has shown his top class directorial skills by this great Sci fi saga " Interstellar" .

Rating: 100%

1.Inception:

Inception is such a mind-blowing,Chilling thriller, storytelling masterpiece.

Christopher Nolan's film while also being one of the greatest science fiction action movies ever made. Leonardo DiCaprio's Cobb and his team can extract ideas and secrets from a target by entering their dreams. A process called Inception.

The big challenge though is to insert a new idea. That's when you start dealing with dreams within dreams, and the plot starts to really spiral in mind bending ways. Add all this to the gravity and physics defying nature of dreams, and you begin to imagine how Inception becomes a brilliant, twisted and devilishly complicated action thriller.

I highly praise Hans Zimmer's music, the explanations, the visuals, the sound, Nolan's direction, and the performance of Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, Ken Watanabe, and Marion Cotillard.
