Krinth sat braced against his dragon friend, Erlshinawon. Her head hung into view, partially blocking his sight of the floating continent. He'd been admiring its colourful plants and glistening gem lines. It flew as a duck sits on water. Erl's scales felt like cobblestone against his back.
"Remember the first few months you spent in this world?" Erlshinawon asked. Her voice was the bones of the earth. "You stared, mouth agape, at almost everything. And you still seem awed. But your wonder is quieter."
Krinth smiled. "Everything here is clean. Even death has community. And the people give me hope."

You do do seem to have an affinity for dragons lately! This was a really enticing story, but I want more! I feel really drawn in to the journey of Krinth and Erlshinawon! Also great names, love the originality of them! Overall a great story Matthew!
