Maze

a double community challenge Drabble

By Matthew J. FrommPublished 4 days ago • 1 min read

I remember falling asleep on a cold October night.

Sprinting around another corner, I’m met by another gray wall.

Wall after wall…an endless labyrinth.

My fists ache as I hammer the cement. My screams don’t rise above the walls.

I curl up breathless.

I’ll wake up soon enough, right?

Right…?
