If we could see what heaven looks like, wouldn't we be afraid? It's like moving to a new house.

  1. Sleeping Beauty's Nightmare

Peg Badman was born in a small town called Sunshine Harbor in the western suburbs of Liverpool. Her father Legg was a banker and her mother Rachel was a music teacher. Like all teenage girls, Badman was an innocent, happy and beautiful girl. She likes the white clouds drifting in the blue sky, the tender grass in the green grass, the snow in winter, and the tinkling of colorful bells on the Christmas tree.

But happiness was shattered when Badman was 11 years old -

One morning when she was 11 years old, Badman woke up. As usual, she was sitting in front of a vanity mirror carved with purple roses, combing her rich, shiny blond curls. As soon as she got up, she couldn't reach the door of the room., fell to the ground...

Over the next month, Rachel and Legg took Badman around for medical treatment. After several trips from Liverpool to London, the news was finally confirmed at the Royal Marsden Hospital: Badman had Peter Hopkins syndrome. The disease is extremely rare, with only 12 cases found worldwide, and there is no cure.

Rachel and Legg took their daughter to almost all the famous hospitals in England and even Europe, but Badman's illness did not get better at all, but worsened day by day. She was like the cursed Sleeping Beauty in the fairy tale, and on a beautiful morning, she entered a long, dark tunnel. Time passed day by day, and the faint light at the entrance of the tunnel became darker and darker.

  2. Christmas 2 months early

Beginning in the fall, Badman's condition deteriorated sharply. She began to fall asleep for up to 20 hours all day. Doctors said every deep sleep could be the end of her life.

If you know that every second we may say goodbye to our loved ones, all you can do is make every minute worth it.

On the way home, Legg asked Badman: "Tell Dad, what is your greatest wish?" Badman thought for a while, and softly sang the most famous Christmas song in England: "Christmas is coming, put it on Crab parasite and red wine, fire in the stove, gifts hanging on the tree... Dad, I want to celebrate Christmas. But it seems that it will take a long time!"

Legg and Rachel felt sour in their hearts. Christmas is still two months away. They don't know if their daughter will live to Christmas.

That night, when his daughter Badman fell asleep, Legg went to the woods of The North Face in the small town, cut down a pine tree to make a Christmas tree, and made many red Christmas flowers to adorn the branches. Rachel hung many colorful bells on the tree. The night wind blew, and the bells made a musical crisp and sweet sound, and in the silent night, it seemed to be playing a rhapsody of love.

When Badman opened her eyes the next day, she rubbed them in disbelief.

"Baby! Merry Christmas!" Rachel and Legg kissed Badman on the cheek.

"Is it really Christmas today? But I remember that every Christmas would be cold and snowflakes!" Badman couldn't believe it.

"Yes, baby, Santa will grant every child's wish. Santa will come to you anytime you want to celebrate Christmas."

  3. If you love, then every day is the day you think about the most

It was a happy day, and Badman hadn't been so happy since he was sick. Before going to bed at night, Badman said sweetly: "I wish every day was Christmas."

The next day, when Badman opened her eyes, she was drawn to the view outside the window. White snow, thick covering roofs, trees and grass!

"Mom, it's snowing!" Badman shouted cheerfully. Rachel smiled and stroked her daughter's head: "Baby, I said, Santa Claus will grant every child's wish." It turned out that Legg bought a huge snow painting and hung it in front of the window of his daughter's room, as if overnight, the world was covered in snow.

"When Santa heard you were going to snow, he sent the Snowflake Angel to the world." Legg said to his daughter with a smile. "Santa is so nice, what does he look like? Can I meet him?" Badman shook his head.

Before the grand and deep fatherly love, this small wish does not seem to be difficult. Legg came to town, bought a set of Santa Claus costumes, and bought a lot of paint. In front of the mirror, he dressed himself up as Santa Claus one stroke at a time. At midnight, Rachel shook the sleeping Badman awake and whispered, "It's almost 12 o'clock. Legend has it that Santa Claus climbs down the chimney at this time. Let's go and have a look."

Badman excitedly came to the chimney and waited. When the clock struck 12 o'clock, an old man in a red Christmas suit began to walk on the roof, he climbed up the high chimney, and then hung himself slowly with a thin rope until he came to Badman's home.

Badman was so happy that she walked up to Santa Claus, stretched out her hand, and said generously, "Hello, Grandpa Santa Claus! Nice to meet you!" Santa Claus didn't speak, just opened his arms and hugged the girl in his arms...

On the third day, Badman woke up to find another red sock under the fireplace containing her long-cherished crystal swan. Badman was overjoyed, holding the crystal swan and asking, "Why does Santa come to our house every day? It's because I'm special, right?"

Rachel took Badman into her arms and said softly, "Yes, child, because you are very special, you will soon leave your little friend and become an angel and fly to the sky."

Hearing his mother's words, Badman was silent for a long time and asked, "Mom, am I going to leave you anytime?" Rachel held back her tears and nodded. Badman thought about it and finally smiled. "So, we have to spend every day together, and every day is Christmas, okay?"

Rachel nodded with a smile in tears.

From that day on, at Legg's house, every day was Christmas. The Christmas tree was always at the door, Christmas songs were always swirling in my ears, and Christmas gifts appeared at Badman's bedside every day. The festive atmosphere kept the family laughing and laughing.

  4. Heaven you can see

As Badman's condition worsened, she began to breathe rapidly and sometimes went into shock.

One morning, Badman finally woke up, her eyelashes trembling like the wings of a bird before it flew for the first time, and finally she opened her eyes. "Mom, am I dying? If I die, can you let me sleep in a crystal coffin? In this way, I will go to another world and be a little princess."

"You will always be our princess. If one day you fall asleep and don't wake up again, then you become a princess in a fairy tale, waiting for us in heaven." Rachel and Legg kissed their daughter's forehead and said emotionally.

That afternoon, Legg took his daughter to the horse farm in the suburbs. Badman wanted to choose one of the valiant horses as his carriage. In the end, Badman chose a batch of white foals for himself. It didn't look that tall, "Just like me, he's still a child, but he'll grow up with me! Then take my crystal coffin to the cemetery." Badman put his arms around the foal's neck and said affectionately.

Afterwards, Rachel took Badman to the glass shop to choose the most crystal clear glass. Badman pressed his little face tightly to the crystal glass and said curiously and happily, "This way I can lie inside and see the outside world!"

"Baby, what kind of place do you want to live in?" Rachel asked.

"Mom, I wish I could sleep under a camphor tree with larks singing!" Badman took his mother's hand and ran like a bird to the east corner of Sunshine Harbor Town. There is an old camphor tree there, lush leaves, rich fragrance, quiet and beautiful, flocks of birds fly back and forth, like an elder with many stories, telling the story of 1001 Nights.

For the rest of the time, Badman's Christmas presents became props in fairy tales. Every morning, when she opened her eyes, she would look expectantly at the red socks by the bed and guess what gifts were inside. Mermaid's comb, Snow White's skirt, Cinderella's magic branch, Sleeping Beauty's spindle, Pea Princess' white lace sheet...

Badman put these one by one into the huge crystal coffin, oh no, in the crystal room. The foal also grew up day by day. Badman named it Cookie, and sometimes rode on the back of the horse and said mischievously, "Hey, dear Cookie, my gifts are getting more and more every day. If one day I can't wake up, you have to remember to help me drag it under the camphor tree, don't be lazy!" The pony will kick its legs twice and take its little owner in circles.

Badman often lay on the snow-white bed and fell asleep, with a serene expression and a beautiful face, as if he was really a magical Sleeping Beauty...

Seeing that her daughter did not seem to be afraid of death at all, Rachel seemed to have been injected with a magical power in her heart. Perhaps death is not as terrifying as adults imagine. If you can accept death happily and peacefully, and even look forward to life after death, what is life afraid of? Physical life will eventually disappear, dreams and love can cross all distances and exist forever.

Rachel kissed Badman and said softly: Baby, don't be afraid, just lie here and wait for us.
