Jaxon could see losing his life in front of his eyes...

Still, his eyes were grounded in the TV screen.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen;

The Project Space Troops 16th Launch in 10,9,8,7,6,5,4

"Four ...... Three ...... Two ...... One ......." Closing his eyes— Holding onto his heart, in a faint voice, Jaxon mumbled the count.

RUMBLE-CRACKLE! KRRRRROOOOOOM!

As the rocket roared into the sky, the deafening sound made his heart skip every beat—the weight of realization that she was gone, too far, too fast for him to reach. That moment Jaxon felt weak— Weakest of all. Jaxon was waiting for someone to pretend that she didn't leave him...

The National News of California continued;

Congratulations to Space Troops for making their 16th safe take-off. We wish all the best to all our respected Astronauts who have risked their lives for the sake of knowledge and human well-being. We salute their families, whose unwavering support has enabled them to embark on this extraordinary journey beyond the bounds of Mother Earth.

These Astronauts include;

  • Daniel Coleman
  • Frankman Harry

A tiny glitter of hope caught Jaxon's heart as the Newscaster started to read the names; "Don't say, Amelia! Don't say, Amelia!", Jaxon cried in a graved voice... His desperateness could be seen all over his body.

  • Andrew Garfield
  • Lucy Hollow
  • Enola Holmes

And

  • Amelia Jaxon

Destiny seemed to conspire against him. Every time he glimpsed a flicker of hope, his luck would pull him back into despair. He wished for Amelia's name not to be mentioned in the News, yet it happened. He dreamt of spending forever by her side, but fate cruelly tore them apart.

He felt like his soul got punched out of his body. On hearing Amelia's name he fell to the ground. Everything felt like a burden to him. He didn't want to exhale an upcoming breath out of his mouth. Now memories of Amelia were the only thing that would stay with him. His room and every corner of it was filled with Love of Amelia. Wherever he looked; He saw Amelia in everything.

The Flower Vase with her favorite flowers.

The Dresser filled with her earrings and hair clips.

The shoe rack with her crocs on it.

The photo frame with her Graduation ceremony picture.

At that moment, he resolved never to live a life that had stolen Amelia from him.

He got back on his legs and started to walk toward the terrace. He intended to take his life as nothing was left behind. His family was already gone when he was 16. Now, his only hope—The sole reason for his smile left him.

As he was taking each step; Every moment spent with Amelia flashed before his eyes. He didn't wanna do this but Amelia left him no choice.... It wasn't her fault too... But maybe she should've met him for the last time...

::::::

A final step to committing suicide...

His last words were," Amelia, I Love You."

Life's End!

He was about to jump, suddenly a hand from behind pulled him and he fell on his back. Hitting the floor hard like a rock.

A hand? Was it Amelia?

"Amelia?"

That's what Jaxon thought too.

Sadly; No. It wasn't Amelia...It was Amelia's neighborhood Aunt whom she trusted the most in her friend's circle. Aunt Coco had always had a spare key to their apartment. She got there at the right time.

"Wha Waatttt do you Th Th Thinnnkkk... What were you doing, Henry?" Aunt Coco stuttered. She had lost her son, Henry, in a car accident, so she always called Jaxon; Henry.

Jaxon couldn't stop his emotions on seeing Aunt Coco. His voice busted.

Aunt Coco.....! She left me.......... My Am left me...... Aunt Coco, how could she do that? Aunt Coco.......

Jaxon cried his heart out as he tightly hugged Aunt Coco.

She says she LOVES you. She says she can't see you seeing her off. She says you are her LIFE, her only LOVE. She says she already died when she left you today....

"Did she meet you? Did she meet you before leaving? Tell me, Coco..." His voice cracked after every word.

"She says she left you a letter. And most prestigious belonging of hers to you." Aunt Coco left his apartment after saying that.

Jaxon rushed to the study table and started looking for her letter like a mental-sick person. He came across a red paper, with white ink on it.

My Loser Jax:

Please don't search for me anywhere... Soon I'll leave this Earth and You for a long time. I don't know what to write. I know nothing can comfort your wounded heart, I know this. I'll miss you every day; Every moment in Space... Last night I realized what "Pain" is. When you held me tight and I had to leave you crying for me; I learned the definition of Love. Our love was beyond selfishness. Our love didn't have a proportion of 50/50. When I gave you my 100 you returned me a 1000. Remember the day you proposed to me...? When you and I were 20 years of age. I told you to wait for 5 more years and you DID.

Today, I'm asking you again;

Would you wait for me for 10 more years? Would you continue loving me every single day? Would you make my Cup of coffee every day?

Promise me! Promise me you won't forget me...

I promise you I'll return.

Would You Wait For Me?

When you said you'd die without me; I know your love for me is infinite but....

No one dies....

You'll learn to live without me... Yet, my memories will always stick with you.

I'll miss you, Jax! I'll miss your coffee.

_Your Am.

Author's note:

How did you feel after reading Amelia's letter? And what is that prestigious belonging of Amelia that she left him? Any guess?

I'm sorry; Most of you wanted Amelia not to leave or maybe predicted her stay.... She had to go!

But there were some people who wanted the rocket to "Blast" lol!

Thank you so much for sticking with the series... I'm so grateful.
