One day in the evening when I was returning to home by bus from the office, someone stole my phone and changed my email password. I’ve tried to recover it, but I don’t have the phone number linked to my account because my phone was stolen. But the good thing was that I had the recovery email.
So, as a user with an active account, I want to reset my password in case I don’t know what is the right password now. So I followed some steps and successfully reset my password through my recovery email and then I changed my mobile number to avoid any type of fraud. I am also mentioning these steps you can also reset your password, if you forgot your password or face any problem to achieve your email accounts.
After entering his email address in the "Log in or Sign up" box and clicking "Forgot password?," a registered but unlogged-in user who forgets his password will receive an email with a link to reset it.
When a registered user enters the incorrect password, he will be notified that the username or password is incorrect and given the option to select Forgot password or Try again to recover it. His pointer will be in the password field when he hits Try again after clicking Forgot password, which will send him an email with a link to reset his password.

You should reset your password every 90 days (about every 3 months), as 80% of all cyber security assaults employ a weak or stolen password. By changing your password on a quarterly basis, you may lower your exposure risk and stay safe from various IT security threats. You should always choose a strong password which is:
- A minimum of 12 characters, but 14 or more is preferable.
- A mix of symbols, numbers, lowercase letters, and capital characters.
- Not a dictionary word, nor the name of a person, a character, a thing, or an establishment.
- Significantly different from the passwords you've previously used.
In a computer or data transmission system, a reset clears any outstanding faults or events and restores a system to default settings or normal operation, typically under controlled conditions. Changing your passwords every 90 days enhances the functionality of your smartphone. When it comes to hard-resetting your smartphone, this is unquestionably the most important advantage. Your Android phone keeps more needless data the longer you use it. The leftover information from uninstalling programs is another thing. In the background, this data uses up a lot of RAM and storage.
