There weren't always dragons in the Valley. The city of Musecana was a youthful valley filled with magical beings such as wizards, dancers, poets, and beings of mystical elements. Dragons were not yet a part of this fun-filled city until the mystical combustion of Gaililia & this would happen before the Feast of Musecana. During this time, there would be laughter, food, drinks, and prestigious leaders that have come forth to showcase their mystical powers.

Jonstino was the most talented leader of this mystical feast and was always the winner of the Golden Arc. Shimmering lights always filled the arena where the talents would fight for the prize of the Golden Arc and the opportunity to be named the "Gold & Arc Warrior". Jonstino entered the city through the steel gates gazing upon the carvings. Written magic shined outwards & anyone looking at the gates went blind or captured if not yet reached a mystical code of tyrants. These leaders were only allowed to enter the gates after obtaining the magical code that would then use a beacon of green light that automatically decoded the powers of an individual. If anyone should ever try to enter this gate with the wrong password, they would immediately be captured by the glistening metal rods that would tie them up in the mystical chambers as a competitor. After captured they would have to remain until the Feast and would have to participate in the "Golden Arc Challenge." If they compete in the Feast and lost than they would become a soldier in the army. The only way to redeem themselves would be to find a new mystical element or creature.

The Ripest Fruits, leaves, diamonds, floating silver roses and golden scrolls were hanging from this arena filled with sparkling dinner tables & chairs set aside for the villagers to attend this prestigious competition. Loud clamoring villagers lined up to submit their submissions for their seats. Calming music was played from all around by the mystical musicians who traveled from the city of Musecana. These beautiful women would keep the tempos for the fights and maintained the suspense of the audience. Soon after villagers gathered in line and a short sly villager who was known for weapon keeping entered the line. Prive brought all of the weapons in a wooden wagon that was only used for the prestigious leaders if things got out of hand with the contestant's magic.

Reflecting rays of light beamed off the metal weapons as Prive struggled to pull his weapon-filled wagon to the front line where one of his wheels broke. "I just can't seem to catch a break," said Prive as he kept struggling to pull the wagon through the bumpy, muddy roads. He came up to the product port and handed the weapons over and received 5 gold coins for his work and 2 seats at the front tables for being the weapon keeper. "5 gold coins," said Prive. He shrugged his shoulders with despair and looked down at the ground not only because he was disappointed in the money he received but the fact he needed to replace his wheel which costs 10 golden coins. Prive jumped up and down and tried to steal 20 gold coins from the pockets of others using his sly mentality used for extracting metal from the rock cave in the valley. Filled with such anger he walked over to the gate where he looked up and said, "Why only 5 golden coins?" The gate then appeared blue where the writings lit up like fire and a low gloomy voice asked, "What is the password? For if you enter this gate with the wrong password, you will be captured." Prive slowly replied "This is stupid," roaring with rage the gates rods snatched out like two winding snakes and lifted him by the legs and said, "For if this is stupid, then your capture will be of great service," said the mystical gate. He tried to hit the gate with his weapon and soon was thrown into the Laughing Forest of Tricks where he stumbled across the rocks and pits of dark tar.

Crying for his life and screaming to the top of his lungs he noticed a quick breeze that felt so cold as it passed him in the air. No villager had ever been to the Laughing Forest for it is the most dangerous mystical land around and only the most prestigious leaders would go there and fight the Bears of Forest who were able to throw clawed nails filled with poison. "It's flying all around he said" with fear in his heart he raised his sword and the flying animal dropped to the ground. Filled with bravery he lifted his sword running and screaming toward the flying beast. It lay about 20 feet long.

Prive was a sly man who used a lot of trickery to get the things he wants just like he tried to steal the coins from his fellow villagers. "Reveal yourself," he said. Holding his arm from his departure, Prive began to raise his arm to cut the dragon's neck off and suddenly was met with a great surprise that left him startled in the midst.

"Please do not kill me," said the beast. Prive dropped his sword filled with confusion and dropped to his knees breathing deeply. The beast rose and blocked the sun and said "I am Hilil. King of Dragons and land keeper for this Forest. That shiny object what is that for I have never seen such amazement. Blowing fire from his mouth trying to melt the sword but was unable to cause even a temperature rise in the metal. This was a special metal that only Prive knew of since he was the weapon keeper and only kept for his safety. "It's my sword, stop trying to melt it with fire... it doesn't work... I tried" said Prive. Filled with much curiosity he inched closer to the dragon sweating like buckets of water. His fear was overtaking him because he had never seen such a creature before and although he saw a lot of mystical beings all his life none of them were creatures that spoke his language.

"I'm stuck here if you come back with me to the valley where I can show that I am a prestigious capturer then I will give this sword to you but please don't harm me," said Prive. Hilil laughed for the thought of his threat of violence scared the young villager he stood high and said "If I help you, we will take over the city of the mystical valley and all of my dragon friends will be of service to you for your weapon of metal cannot be melted by my fire so now I am of service to you" said Hilil. That was a great surprise to Prive. He had never been in the position of power and never thought he would be given an opportunity to show what he was made of deep down inside. The thoughts of how he was poorly treated and underpaid for his hard work all year for the mystical creatures only made him more upset. He was bothered by the feast that was happening as he was away. He bowed to Hilil with gratitude for not killing him and taking the sword. Prive used the sword to stab it into the ground and make a jump to get on Hilil's back to be flown back into the valley.

The feast was already started, and Hilil & his entourage flew over the gates in the valley and landed on the dinner table with all of the food. Longtails of green slimy dragon gunk swayed back and forth on the table. These dragons stood 20ft tall and were intrigued by all the delicious smelling food that was laid in a perfect line on nice silk linen. Eventually, the creatures ate all of the feasts that were prepared by the cooking ladies of Musecana. Prive gathered his army and charged with lights of magical force unto the dragons. The fight between the dragons and mystical warriors had started. Helmets flew around like spinning balls and fire that morphed into weapons began to fight the battles upon the dragons. Prive proceeded to pick up his weapon of metal and began to fight with the dragons remembering all the times he was treated unfairly. The passion from his swings was able to take down some of the mystical warriors due to his heart. Although he was filled with rage, his passion for doing the right thing and setting his friends free from the bondage of not having a gift was what made him the most mystical being in the arena. "Jonstino, my sword is the only thing these dragons can't melt," said Prive. With amazement everyone even Jonstino bowed to this newfound creature. Jonstino still filled with much pride then tried to run at Hilil with his rushing waterpower where he was defeated by Hilil using his fire magic like a bowl to capture all of the warrior's power and drained him of all his power. These dragons were not only fire-breathing but were able to absorb all the powers of each prestigious leader and gave them all to Prive. He now ruled Dragonite Valley the gate was absorbed by the dragons, and the dragons now became the guards of the city.

I loved this story. As I read I found myself drawn in and wanting to know more as I saw in my mind to story unfolding. A true fan of dragons I like the direction of this story since it’s different from those I’ve read or seen in the past. Can’t wait to read more on this and hope it becomes a series.
