Heart or mind?

How do you react when someone compares you to someone else? How do you react when someone attempts to impersonate you? How do you feel when you're mistaken for someone else?

Something similar was happening with Sumit as well; Ritu was comparing Sumit to Rahul on a daily basis, while Sumit was falling in love with Ritu on the other hand.

It's not that Ritu didn't want to forget Rahul and move on; she wanted to start her new life with Sumit, and just as Rahul was happy with Priya, she wanted to accept Sumit wholeheartedly. But whose emphasis is on the past? The more she attempted to forget Rahul, the more she remembered him. Ritu now desires to emerge from her memories.

She had thought that no matter what happened, she would never remember Rahul again.

Ritu began spending all of her time with Sumit and gradually began to fade from Rahul's memories. But Ritu still had not told Sumit about her past. Everything seemed fine, but there remained an unfinished business in Ritu and Sumit's relationship, which both of them felt.

Ritu attempts to figure out what's causing the emptiness, and she understands that if there's a physical relationship with an emotional attachment, the relationship grows very powerful.

Ritu was mentally ready for a physical relationship with Sumit. Sumit also desired that the space between Ritu and him be closed. And then, one day, they both became closer. There was nothing natural about their intimacy; it was as if they were characters in a film.

Whatever they read, and whatever they saw in the movies, it all happened.

And when the moment had arrived, the emptiness that both of them felt in their relationship had vanished somewhere, as if their relationship had begun anew, and the relationship was only just getting started.The name is no longer there, but the feelings are.

Keeping her head on Sumit's chest, Ritu began to pour in emotion, and in a couple of words, Ritu told Sumit everything about Rahul. At the time, Sumit did not judge Ritu's discussion, but simply said, "Do you still remember Rahul?" Ritu shook her head in response. Sumit was heartbroken to learn about Rahul, but he refused to expose Ritu since he did not want to lose Ritu under any circumstances. 

Ritu's expression was also peaceful, as if a burden had been lifted from her heart. 

Forgetting all of this, Ritu and Sumit were happy in their love-filled world, and Ritu finally escaped Rahul's mind.

But one day, Ritu received a call from an unknown number. Ritu answered the phone and inquired, "Who are you? Rahul's response came from there. Ritu was fully lost in her new world, unable to recall the painful recollections of her past. Ritu inquired once more, "Who is Rahul?" And a voice said, "You don't recognise me, you forget me fast." I know I made a major mistake, but I also know you'll forgive me and come back to me. "

How can you forget that I am your first love and that you will never be able to replace me?Ritu was at a loss for words as to how to react; the jealousy that she had hoped to see in Rahul some time ago was clearly obvious to her now, but that jealousy was no longer useful; Sumit had made its way into Ritu's life.

Even after hearing this, Ritu was unable to disconnect the phone; the pages of her life began to reopen, and those moments that she had spent with Rahul began to play back in front of her eyes like a film.

Ritu's heart desired that she reintroduce Rahul into her life as before, but what about Sumit? Her intellect was telling her what was right and wrong, while her heart was only showing her Rahul's face. 

Ritu was ready to forgive Rahul for forgetting everything in front of an apology, but she knew that Sumit's heart would be broken. Now she was confused about which to choose between Rahul and Sumit. Ritu knew this very well. Someone's heart will be broken, but whose?

If she was thinking practically, she believed Sumit was the best choice, but if she was thinking emotionally, she could only see Rahul.

That one phone call from Rahul triggered another storm in Ritu's life, igniting a battle between her heart and mind.
