Haunted Light

There are stories that if you wander into the woods at night and you are sad, having lost a loved family member, a great friend or someone who loves you, you may see the Four Sorrows, four sisters who will comfort those whose heart seems lost in sadness.

They hold hands and make a circle of comfort, but if you approach them, they dissolve into a spectral light, fading into the leaves of the surrounding trees.

The names are Comla, Cara, Cama and Mina.

They soothe the hearts and minds of those in pain, but will not be approached; they cannot be touched, only seen.

They may be ghosts or spirits, but only those touched by hurt and sadness can ever see them.

They are all beautiful, but you must hope that you will never see them.
