HEAVEN - 2029

The three men: Jackson, Adams and Baxter; stare silently at a shiny, red sports convertible that just appeared before them.

Jackson asks, "Where did that come from?"

Baxter replies, "It just appeared. It wasn't there a second ago."

Baxter walks over to the car, and pushes on it with his finger. He jumps back, half-expecting some kind of explosion.

Jackson says, "Okay, we need to take a moment here —”

Adams says, "Think of something else!"

Jackson's mind goes blank.

Adams gives up, and says, "Alright, I'll do it."

Adams makes a fist, and opens it to reveal a diamond.

He closes his fist around the diamond, and opens it to reveal a one hundred dollar bill.

Adams says, "Incredible."

He tosses the $100 bill into the air, and down fall thousands. It is literally raining money.

Baxter says, "We can have anything!"

Baxter unzips his suit, revealing a shiner, flashier spacesuit. He seems ecstatic.

Adams walks over to Jackson. Jackson looks up at the much taller man. Adams says, "Conrad, look at this!"

Adams reveals in his hands a palm-sized fusion reaction: a mini sun.

Adams eyes glow as the star grows bigger.

Jackson backs up, and looks Adams in the eyes.

Jackson says, "I've recreated that same reaction in my lab. It’s not a miracle.”

Adams closes his fist, and there is a puff of smoke as the star is snuffed out.

Jackson adds, "You shouldn't be doing that."

CLOSE ON BAXTER

He is now holding a slice of pizza.

Baxter says gleefully, "Yeah!”

Adams is now back amongst the group.

Adams says, "No, you're not getting it. You can have anything."

Baxter nods, "Anything."

PULL BACK FROM BAXTER

He is now holding a full 16" pizza.

Adams shakes his head, "That's the best you can do? You can have anything in the universe, and you think pizza?"

Adams shrugs, and takes a bite.

He moans, "That is the best slice of pizza I've ever had."

Adams and Baxter are now in sofa recliner chairs.

Baxter is enjoying his slice as well. Of course, it would only make sense to pair a slice of pizza with a cold beer. The beer fridge opens, and Baxter's eyes go wide. He sharply intakes a breath. He takes a beer.

Adams smiles, "Good call!"

"I'm serious, Rick. Cut it out!" yells Jackson.

Baxter eats another slice. Very intently his eyes dance as he munches.

He whispers, "Oh man, I feel like I'm in heaven."

Baxter reclines his chair, and lets out a groan of relaxation.

CUT TO:

INT. GREEN ROOM - NSURGE CONCERT - NIGHT

Baxter is sitting on the couch. He intently eats another slice of pizza. He speaks to his dealer, JOEY FOUNTAIN.

Joey is in the room with Baxter, selling him the new drug.

Baxter asks, "So, am I going to get high?"

Joey laughs, "High? No. This is better. Different. Like nothing you've ever felt before. You feel it in your body. It does the opposite of the drugs you're used to, because it doesn't mess with your mind. Imagine running and never getting tired. Reading and never forgetting. That feeling like you just had sex, but all the time."

Baxter nods, "Ecstasy."

Joey shakes his head, "You're not getting it. You can soar with the eagles, run with the buffalo. The world is on your shoulders, but it's not weighing you down. It’s light as a feather."

Baxter asks, "Who? Atlas, The Greek Titan?"

Joey says, "Okay listen, it bio-genetically reassigns your DNA. Simultaneously it attacks all degenerative cellular processes, effectively allowing for systemic anti-deterioration."

"Is it at all like cocaine?" asks Baxter.

Joey tosses Baxter a bottle of pills, and says, "Just try it."

Baxter inspects the bottle. It’s Doctor Jackson’s miracle drug — the fountain of youth. The label says Tyloxenin Six.
