For the unfree women around the world

Our thoughts reach out

Bobby Darin- We the people here don't want no war

It is very difficult to believe that we all live in the same world, yet we do not have all the same benefits, freedom and rights which should be a universal choice for all mankind. From the dawn of creation we have always been fighting, in one form or the other to just be free, irrespective of where we are, or to whom we were born, Rich or poor.

But, it matters where on the globe you are born a woman. Your independence depends upon it. Your choices depend on it, your lifestyle depends on it. Your goals and aspirations depend on it. Your life depends on it.

As Women who are free to live our lives the way in which we desire in most parts of the world, I am distressed by the plight of the women in the middle eastern countries and some African countries, among others, who are afraid for their lives.

Women who are terrified that their lives hang in the balance each second of every day deserve to be emancipated. That men can dictate the way they dress, the way they live, who they can marry, where they can and cannot go. They basically live as drones, as puppets who have their strings pulled, and yanked brutally when they are seen to get out of line.

Imagine having to live feeling day after day that you are in captivity, forced to marry men who you do not care about, and have their children. Even with these children the vicious cycle will continue.

I feel totally helpless as I sit and ponder what I can do to help the cause of these poor helpless women.

Women and children who are sold into captivity and slavery of one kind or another all around the world.

We ask ourselves how can the hearts of men be so callously wicked and evil. What happened to the history of violence and bloodshed that defined our progress from long past sacrifices.

We never stopped being evil. It was just always there lurking in shadows and unseen, but still reaching out it's fingered scaly tentacles to whomever has a heart to receive it.

Ying and yang will forever be a part of our lives. While one half of the world strive for peace and mercy, the other half cringes into the murky shadows and corners of the world to wreak havoc on those innocent and helpless beings who get in their way.

I am sending out my highest consciousness of thoughts of love and unity to the terrified women in Afghanistan, in Africa, in Mexico, in Jamaica and Haiti, the Caribbean, in the USA, in the Philippines, In Europe in Asia and every corner of the world. We are in solidarity with you.

Receive these thoughts as they permeate the air and ride on the currents to comfort you and let you know that you are not alone. It may seem that you are alone in body, but know that you are not alone in spirit.

Redemption rides on wings of light and love.

It may appear that this world is getting worse instead of better. We have lost contact with each other on a personal caring and friendly plane.

Humanity is sinking itself into a mire of quicksand from which it appears it is fast descending. We need to wake up to the reality that we are the ones who are going to end the world, long before any ordained prophesy has the opportunity to end it for us.

Violence is escalating, a Pandemic is holding the world hostage. The world has done a complete 360 degree loop. Climate changes are causing fires, floods, earthquakes, tornados and drought. Persons are doing the jobs that was once meant for three or four people without an increase in pay or lesser hours, they are the exhausted few who are keeping things going.

Yet in the midst of all this people are still fighting for power and the select few still want to rule the world. If we continue on this path there will be no world left to rule or fight for.

I truly feel that I am stuck in a frozen pond from which there is only a glimmer of hope for escape from the iciness that lurks on the surface. But, that glimmer gives me hope. Hope for all the women and girls and children as a whole. May they be safe and earn redemption from their plight.

May the world rescue itself from the icy fingers that are reaching out to our hearts. May warmth be forever triumphant and keep us safe.
