One day, as usual, the old man went to the mountain to cut bamboo.

It was an autumn morning, the sky was high and cloudless. The old man walked into the bamboo forest, looked around, and found bamboo with shining roots.

"Hmm?"

The old man was a bit puzzled, so he cut down the bamboo.

At that moment, something strange happened; there was a little girl in the bamboo.

The old man was astonished. Immediately the child gently sticks up. Hey, what a cute little girl!

"Great joy, great joy!"

The old man, because he had no children, wanted to take this little girl as his child.

"Go home, give the old woman to see!"

"Ohhhhh, this little girl is really attractive. The old lady is also overjoyed.

Cold and quiet home, now can be lively.

The old man made a delicate bamboo basket out of young bamboo and put the little girl in it.

From then on, the old man often found all kinds of treasures in the bamboo when he cut them.

The old man's family's day gradually got better.

The little girl grew every day. Three months, it grew to be completely like an adult.

Since there is this little girl, whether the home is the root of the wall or the corner of the house, is bright and shiny. So, the old man named her "Moonlight Princess".

"This is a gentle and beautiful moonlight princess!"

"The moonlight princess, intelligent and outstanding!"

The group praised this.

The praise of the Moonlight Princess spread from the village to the capital, and finally, the emperor heard it. The emperor said.

"If this woman is so gentle and beautiful, I would like to meet her. Go first and show me how it is."

So, an envoy was sent.

However, Princess Moonlight said.

"No, no, I am not such a good girl."

She didn't see the Chinaman.

After she was born out of bamboo, Princess Tsukiko spent three years in peace.

In the spring of that year, Princess Moonlight was often alone with the moon, full of sadness.

The old grandfather and grandmother were disturbed and asked.

"What's wrong, why are you so preoccupied?"

Princess Moonlight only replied.

"No, nothing is wrong."

Autumn has come.

It was almost time for the Mid-Autumn Festival. Princess Moonlight was always twitching every night. When the two old men asked why she said.

"I am originally from the Moon Palace. This year, the Moon Palace will come to pick me up at mid-autumn night. It seems that we have to be separated. I am sad and crying for this."

The two old men were surprised to hear this. So they asked the emperor to protect Princess Moonlight.

Finally came the 15th day of August.

The guards of the palace came in great numbers. Armed with swords and bows and arrows, they surrounded the old man's house in layers.

It was dark, and a bright moon rose from the eastern mountain.

"What if my daughter is gone?"

The old grandmother led the moonlight princess and hid in the barn. The old grandfather stood at the door of the barn.

The moon was rising. The area was also illuminated as daylight.

Not long after, the moon around the floating white clouds, and then, I do not know where from the sound of beautiful music.

A look, a large group of people driving cars, riding on the white clouds, from the sky.

The emperor's guards, illuminated by the moonlight, there is no way out.

The door of the barn automatically opened.

Princess Moonlight, led by fairies, came out.

"Thanks to the two old people to take care of many, this kindness will never forget. Every night when the moonlight bites clean, please remember me."

Then the Moonlight Princess changed into the clothes of the Moon Palace.

The moonlight became brighter.

The car carrying the Moonhead Princess rose into the sky.

The sound of the music of the Moon Palace also faded away
