Episode #3 Going for Supper Before Checking out the Ghost

Going for supper before following a ghost is always a great idea. As you and Jordan make your way down your driveway you notice it’s only 4pm. With an hour to spare before lunch you have decide to stop at the recreational center, just to check it out. Entering East door, first thing you notice are free pinball machines, heading there right away, it has been a long time since ever seeing one no matter being able to play one.

Next to them were pool tables, shuffleboard tables and even an assortment of couches, chairs and stools to recline in while watching TV. Also, a piano with assortment of other instruments to indulge in. You mention to Jordan how much you both will need to come back and check out all those instruments later. Most unique thing is while playing a game of pool, you notice each door has a large note attached to it.

South door reads, “Welcome to our Village!” North door reads, “Short cut to Mess Hall?” East door reads, “Follow a footpath?” Finally, “West door reads, “Want to have a bonfire?” Since you are both dying for something to eat, you head right for the North Entry.

Door slams behind you, nothing but darkness ahead. Frantic, “Jordan! Where are you?” Feeling fingers touch your sleeve searching for your arm, “Right here!”

It’s Jordan, relief swarms over your entire body instantly. Reaching sideways, with both arms extended, you’re able to touch walls on either side, feeling your way along. Oops! Just as your foot hits an incline both walls end, causing you to land directly on your buttocks! Jordan right on top of you! Scrambling to your feet you notice a door swinging wide open just ahead!

Jordan climbs over you running for the open door, half crawling half running, you shove Jordan through the door, tumbling on through after her. All the while laughing, finally helping each other up off the floor. “Oh my goodness Jordan, did we really just do that?”

Jordan only continues laughing. Arm in arm you follow arrows down a extremely long hallway, leading through part of the main kitchen. You continue following arrows coming to yet another door. When passing through this door you find yourself in the main foyer of the hospital. There before you, twelve-foot hand carved oak doors stretching proudly in the front of you.

Walking closer to the front doors you notice a sign attached to the old hospital doors section stating, “DO NOT ENTER RESTRICTED AREA”. To your left is a set of oak dual winding staircases also hand craved with native symbols. Jordan grabs your arm, “Look, lets check out this room”, pointing to her right.

You follow without a fight, walking directly into a line up for supper. The mess hall is huge, it fits hundreds of people. A buffet is set up with massive amounts of food to choose from. You and Jordan grab your food and head to a table. You notice there are a lot more students there then just your school. Excitement rises just thinking about how much fun you are going to have while camping for the week.

A man enters the Mess Hall, “Attention Please! I would like to welcome you all for an opportunity to listen to stories of what this 'TB Clinic' was used for and who built it. Plus, tonight you have the chance to take a Ghost Tour.” He leaves as fast as he arrived.

Well it's your lucky day! You have found your way to an opportunity to learn what the hospital was all about and who made it. Exciting! You also have an opportunity to go on a ghost tour! How amazing is that?
