The hidden island of Easter is out in the middle of the ocean, not marked on any map. It is perpetually Spring in this land, with flowers in bloom, trees in bud, and grass a nice green shade. Peter Rabbit and the Easter Bunnies live on this Island.
Peter and the Bunnies spend most of the year making treats and surprises for the little boys and girls of the world. Treats include colored eggs, chocolate bunnies, and egg-shaped gum, as well as surprises like wind-up ducks, rubber chickens, and stuffed bunnies.
Once Easter comes around, the Bunnies and Peter set out, one by one, to deliver the goodies and hide them for the boys and girls. Once they hide everything, they return to the Island to prepare for the next year.
But the kids all go outside with baskets to find the surprises left for them: the egg-shaped gum, the stuffed rabbits, the chocolate rabbits, the chickens and ducks, and the multicolored eggs in various designs. Excited, the children run around on the Spring scavenger hunt, hoping to find a golden egg.

Unlike Santa, they live at the Palm Tree Pole & enjoy balmy weather all the year long. Sounds like the intro to a fine children's story.
Awww, this was so colourful and wonderful! Loved your story!
