Diamond Of Love

Upon a stone, sat a man, with a herkimer diamond in his hand,

to the heavens he raised his arm, and up sprang a forest, and tilled land for a farm,

Through the work of his hands this man built, upon a hill a house with stilts,

This house was unique in many ways, for entering one door led to a maze,

circular around this house was strong, and walking past you could hear a sad song,

the source of the sound did not go unnoticed and its origin was known before too long,

whenever the birds chirped in the trees it caused it to rain enough to fill the seas,

with his diamond the man then thought, i created chaos is this for what i fought,

looking intently into his hand, and the herkimer diamond had turned into sand,

With the gift feom the heavens, seemingly gone the man wondered how things had gone so wrong,

The man stood up and began to walk, hoping to find another special rock,

Into the wild, he did go, until suddenly it began to snow,

The man set camp to rest for a while, he heard a scary beast which he sought not to rile,

he layed down his head to get some sleep, and before he realized it, he had begun to weep,

remembering the one with which he used to lay, his late wife had ascended, and gone away,

Just then it hit him, the diamond, that is, was never foreign to what he is,

as his eyes, began to part, he saw the most beautiful work of art,

His wife, standing there, with arms open wide, and the herkimer diamond, hanging from her left side,

the treasure the man had, was never truly lost, for he gave it up for his wife, and his life was the cost.

Never allow the one you love to go without knowing that your reason for living is what their spirit is sewing.

Lift your eyes to the sky and you'll see that beautiful things are around you and me,

for living a life that is filled with divine love, is exactly what we need like a pair of doves

When standing by your side is your most valuable person,

never attempt to them to cause a harmful assertion,

Their is something to be said for a diamond in the rough, in my opinion you cant find one more tough,

for the ones who have made it through much adversity, is a lot like the story, the man, and the sea.

A person so wonderful could be with a life spent easily,

It is much better to love and lost than to never love at all, for not knowing love is like being alone in a hall, sometimes we must take that one leap of faith, otherwise you will end up lonely, feeling like a wrath.

Live up ti the standards you set for yourself and you wont have to worry about being criticized like santas elf.

Always chase your dreams and try to catch them quick, for living with them early on is the trick.

Working a job that is 9-5 does not mean your not accomplished, plus you survive, but living the life you have seen in your dreams is what a mind does when it collaborates with teams.
