I was tagged by Babs Iverson for the second challenge of James & Oneg’s Summer Writing Challenge Extravaganza: "Tag, You're it!" Look for the link to James & Oneg’s post at the bottom of this one.

The Tag You’re It! Challenge: pick a Vocal community and tag/nominate another writer to write a poem or 100-word micro fic about it BUT you only have 15 minutes to write!

I was given the task of writing a micro short or poem in the Fiction community. I chose a micro short.

Apologies in advance for the dark subject matter. Here goes.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Every crime scene is different, but this one is savage. Gruesome, really. The whole thing makes me sick to my stomach. What a waste! Innards destroyed. Body parts slung everywhere. Except the arms, there’s no arms anymore! Only an animal could do something like this. The main suspect is already in custody. He didn’t even have the decency to try to flee the scene. He sits there, eyes averted, chewing his nails. It’s incomprehensible to think that he slept with his victim every night. Those days are over. A threaded needle and thread can’t fix it this time.
BOOKED!
The witnesses:
Oh the humanity!
The victim:
De-squeaked ain't pretty! Arms MIA
