Jason loved watching the clouds he could spend hours doing it all day. He could name all the different kinds as well. Turning them into shapes that were not really there. Or were they? In his mind they were always there. Pitted against the dark background. And turned into something that he could see forever. They floated on there own currents up there in the sky and sometimes they were mean. As in a terrifying thunderstorms. Bouncing around each other. And meaningful complications that they possessed.

Peter, Jason's lover always thought that he had obsession with the clouds. He always wanted to be up there no matter what. And he could not retrace his thoughts surrounding them. Peter did not mind it let him have a more active imagination. He participated less in the bedroom though with the cloudy sheets billowing around both of them.

Hurricane season was what the clouds did not like they swirled around each other at a massive pace. The planes that went through the clouds enjoyed a day off when they were nasty to them. It did not happen too often. But when it did it was a miracle. And they could reach through anything or so it seemed. The currents were ridiculous. A shoddy reach through at most.

A miracle that came through was when the sun showed through the clouds and a rainbow or two appeared. That was the magical time. Motorcycles and cars had nothing to compare them to. It was perfect writing weather when it was nice and mild outside with the clouds drifting lazily overhead. And the people small on the ground. That was when his talent for words popped out of his head. No other time seemed to matter. Flags did not seem to like this weather either. They would kringe over and multiply.

The current would take them away. And send them to a time left forgotten. A time when there were no clouds and the volcanoes erupted without them. They seized the moment and came through the other way that was not predicted. Carried away into a forgotten land of dust and petulance.

What would we do without clouds you would think. Maybe they are there for a reason to bounce light off the ground and twist it into something that was manageable. Walking slow so as not to hurt oneself. Today is Monday and my brain is already fried from writing these rhymes. But that is ok I will wake up and do it again. It was far from heaven they say.

Four o'clock and all is well the clouds will disappear in a couple of hours or so and will produce stars to light up the night. That is when everything will come forth and radiate a land full of light. The stars combined bioluminescence will agree with everything else. Good feelings will wash over us and refresh our minds at the same time. Is that not wonderful, I would think that it would be. Sunsets are more popular in my book. They trump sunrises by a majority.

Dropping it in massive degrees into a sedentary life. The clouds they are always there watching and waiting until the end of time. Losing our minds while we are viewing them from a stand-still position as the world turns around us. Burning a hole in our retinas and blowing our minds. Pissing off the neighors one more time telling them that the clouds do not exist. Fortunately for us we know that they do. Lighting up every time we see a reaction to the fabled clouds, thats it.
