Clifford Timelapse Portable to Another World

Let's see where this goes...

By Mello.viibesPublished about a year ago 3 min read

Clifford the Big Red Dog was having a typical day at the beach with his owner, Emily Elizabeth. They had been playing fetch with a frisbee and splashing in the waves all morning. As the sun started to peek over the horizon, Emily decided it was time to pack up and go home.

As they were walking back to their house, Emily suddenly stopped in her tracks and gasped. "Clifford, look!" she exclaimed, pointing to a strange object on the ground. It was a small, shiny metal box with intricate engravings all over it.

Curiously, Emily picked it up and examined it. "I wonder what this is?" she said to Clifford, who wagged his tail excitedly. Emily couldn't resist the urge to open the box, and as she lifted the lid, a bright light shone forth, momentarily blinding her.

When Emily's vision cleared, she found herself in a completely different place. The sandy beach had been replaced by a lush, green forest, and the sun was no longer in the sky. Instead, the moon shone brightly above, casting a silvery glow over everything.

Clifford barked in surprise, not sure what was happening. Emily was just as confused, but she knew they had to find a way back home. She looked around, trying to get her bearings, and noticed a small path leading deeper into the forest.

Taking a deep breath, Emily grabbed the leash and started walking, with Clifford following closely behind. As they walked, the trees grew taller and the underbrush thickened, making it difficult to see more than a few feet in front of them.

Suddenly, a loud growling noise echoed through the forest, causing Emily and Clifford to freeze in their tracks. "What was that?" Emily whispered, her heart racing.

Before Clifford could even bark a response, a group of creatures emerged from the bushes. They were small, furry creatures with big eyes and long, bushy tails. Emily had never seen anything like them before, but they didn't seem to be threatening. In fact, they seemed to be smiling and beckoning for Emily and Clifford to follow them.

Cautiously, Emily and Clifford followed the creatures deeper into the forest, until they came to a clearing where a large tree stood. The creatures climbed up the tree and disappeared into a hole in the trunk.

Emily and Clifford looked at each other, unsure of what to do. They had never climbed a tree before, but they knew they had to find a way back home. Gathering all their courage, they began to climb, with Clifford using his big red paws to help Emily up.

As they made their way higher and higher, the forest below began to fade away, replaced by a vast expanse of stars. Emily and Clifford gasped in amazement at the sight. They had never been so high up before, and the view was breathtaking.

Eventually, they reached the top of the tree, where they found the creatures waiting for them. One of them, who seemed to be the leader, motioned for Emily and Clifford to follow him through a portal that had appeared in the tree trunk.

Without hesitation, Emily and Clifford stepped through the portal, not knowing where it would take them. They emerged in a strange, futuristic city, where buildings reached up to the clouds and flying cars zoomed through the streets.

As Emily and Clifford marveled at the sights and sounds of the city, they were approached by a group of humans wearing strange, metallic suits. "Welcome to the future," one of them said, smiling. "We've been waiting for you."

It was then that Emily realized that they had traveled
