She looked at the photo of the house that she stood in now, it had been the place of many ghosts & a necklace that in turn destroyed their team. Her teammates expected to have another assessment to distract themselves with, but none came, and a couple weeks ago they were told if they did not find one more person, the shoulders would not be sending them any more assignments. something about having as many people in your team as the record says. So they had put out a sign for a new partner on the job board at the only cafe still open in the middle of town. But who knew if that would catch anyone's eyes as Josphine had made the poster which meant it was delicately made but then again , the poster might be too frilly for an agent.

She walked towards a pile of paper and then heard the front door opens and then shut , as the rest of her team walked into the room with a boy , Starling turned and stared at them questing as far as she could see they both where in coral clothing so this boy was not one of tere dates , so why was he here.

“We found him wandering outside” said Lavender as she let go of his elbow & smiled at him. Wondering why a boy his age would be outside of their house, maybe Josphine had a date, because she definitely did not. He was not exactly her type. But then she looked in his hands & there in his hands was the flier they had sent out & he also was holding under his arm an odd package wrapped in brown paper.

“ Where did you find that?” Starling said as she questionly looked at him as if he was an enemy.

“Some guy gave it to you as he saw the flier I was holding told me to give it to my new team or whatever” the boy said as he looked at them an he felt the tension in the room steal a little bit as he looked around there where book sleeves with items he assumed where there's. He really hoped they would take him he needed this.

“Well we still have to interview you,” said Starling as Josphine went over to the shelves and picked up an old book, looking up at him slightly with a smile.“Give that here will you” he tossed it to her, she caught it and turned it over suspiciously. “who was this man exactly”

“Could not tell you” said the boy shortly, he was starting to get nuvus as they did what felt like an interrogation.

“Any unique outfit” Josphine said trying to help jog his memory , as she looked up from her book.

“No, no postal dress up” he paused as he looked at the girl “ just seemed like a bloke out for a walk” he felt the tension in the room he choose that time to speak “love what you did with the poster”

Josphine filled with joy “really? See Star not too frilly” she smiled at him very joyfully.

Starling put her hand to her eyes, itching at them slightly “just take him to the interview, will you” she put the suspicious package wrapped in brown paper down on the table, over the photo of the house they stood in. She turned to look at the clock in the study. As Lavender took the boy out of the room and into the sitting room next to the kitchen, all the way on the other side of the door when you walk in. Starling and Josphine looked down on the package , they would join her in a minute. There was tension but also a nervous feeling the cold room.

“Should we open it?” Josphine said as she picked at the corner on the wrapping, only to get her hand hit lightly by Starling. Josphine brought her hand back, getting that was a ‘no,’ she set off towards Lavender as her bracelets clinked against one another. She practically skipped to the kitchen area, as Starling followed she said under her breath.

“We should wait to see if he is our new member, would not want to open a case file if two of our members were gone. Now would we?” she paused, not waiting for an answer “ also if it something dangerous, better to have all three of us in that room then just the two of us.” With that she went into where Lavender was sitting across from the boy as Josphine skipped to a seat and then laid herself down in a chair, her legs up on the arm of it as her feet hung off the edge of the arm.

I have always loved writing, even if it can be challenging sometimes but that has never stopped me. I have always wanted to be an author. Many of my books take topics people are afraid to talk about, so I put that topic in my writing.
