A long time ago, the Yugus did not have a fire. Later, a hero from somewhere gets a fire, and the Yugu people can live a life of heating and can eat cooked meat.

To keep the fire from going out, when not using fire, they picked up a large piece of cow dung buried in the ashes, and when the next fire, the cow dung out as kindling. It is said that if the fire is extinguished, there is no other way but to go to a goblin to ask for fire. And that goblin is ferocious, specializing in eating human flesh and drinking human blood to live.

At that time there was a newlywed couple, the man went to a very faraway place to hunt, and it will take many days to return. Before he left home, he repeatedly told his beloved wife how to look after the house, how to cook, how to watch out for demons, and so on, but he, only forgot to tell her how to watch the fire.

Wife because her husband was away, stayed at home alone, feeling extra lonely and lonely, very anxious and bored, this day, she made some early meals, hastily ate down, not to the dark, lie down on the bed to go to sleep.

The next day when she got up to make breakfast, she found that the fire in the stove had already gone out, and there was not even a spark. She was very anxious because the fire was very important to their lives. Without a fire, she had to make do with some dried meat. In the evening, she suddenly saw smoke coming from the south slope of the hill, which made her very happy, thinking that there must be kindling there, so she hurriedly ran towards the place where the smoke was coming from.

She ran and ran and ran, far from home, it was getting dark, the night was getting deeper but the idea of finding fire made her reckless, finally, she came to the south slope. There was a tent with a flickering fire. She ran in excitedly and saw that there was a gray-haired grandmother sitting in the tent, and she was roasting meat to eat! Next to her was a small flower dog.

The white-haired grandmother saw a beautiful young woman running in, looked particularly happy, and asked her intimately: "child, it is already so late, how did you come here alone? Where did you come from and what is your business with me?"

When the new daughter-in-law saw how kind and affable the white-haired grandmother was, she let her emotions out and unknowingly shed tears, saying to the grandmother, "Grandmother, my man went out hunting, and I accidentally put out the fire in the house so that I couldn't cook or get warm. Please have mercy and give me some kindling, what can I do without fire?" Then she told the grandmother where she lived.

"Oh, child, it's really hard for you, it's so far away, it's not easy to get the kindling! Well, how about this, you open the lapel of your robe, and I will put the kindling for you. Then you can take the fire home."

With that, the white-haired grandmother put a layer of ash, then a layer of goat dung, and finally a layer of fire on top of the new bride's robe. Then, another layer of dung was placed on top, a layer of fire, and the top was covered with a layer of ash. Well, we must be more careful in the future, can no longer put out the fire. After doing all this, the white-haired grandmother, again and again, admonished her.

The new daughter-in-law was very happy to get the fire, thanked her goodbye, and continued on her way back, and as a result, spilled a fire line along the way, and returned home with only a small amount of fire left. But she never expected that the old grandmother was a three-headed goblin turned into.
