@At the age of twenty, he is still enjoying the lusciousness and joy of life. @Living happily, he is actively involved in physical exercise, is good at skating and skiing, and also plays golf, tennis, badminton, basketball and volleyball. He even formed a competition federation and is working on establishing a tennis court construction company.

@Also, engaged to what he thought was "the most beautiful woman in the world", @'s future was bright. However, bad luck came at this time.

It was a wonderful Christmas night. @Leaving California and driving to Utah. He was going there to spend the vacation with his fiancée Delice, only five weeks away from their wedding day, and they also wanted to take this opportunity to talk about wedding planning. @After driving for eight hours, feeling a little overwhelmed, he let his friend drive, and he went to the passenger seat belt and put on his seat belt to sleep. By this time, it was late at night, and after an hour and a half of driving, his tired friend fell asleep on the steering wheel. As a result, the car hit the guardrail and rolled down the hill. The sound of metal bending, the sound of glass breaking, woke @suddenly, but in an instant he was calm again - he passed out.

When @opened his eyes again, the world had turned dark. When he regained consciousness, @felt bleeding all over his face and was in great pain. He was thrown out of the car and broke his neck on the bare ground. His legs, abs, psoas, arms and hands were not working, and he was paralyzed from the chest down.

@was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. After diagnosis, the doctor announced that @had become disabled.

This became the starting point of @another life.

Because of @'s physical condition, he can no longer work. Thankfully @still has 7% of his body to work. The doctor said he could no longer drive and would be completely dependent on others for feeding, dressing and walking for the rest of his life. They also said @better never mention marriage again, because who would want @? They concluded that @would never be able to participate in any kind of competitive and sports activities again. @felt terrified for the first time, he was terrified that what the doctor said would be true.

Lying on the hospital bed, @asked himself: Where have all my hopes and dreams gone? Can everything start from scratch? Can I still work, get married, have children, and enjoy the previous happy life?

Those days were both worrying and frightening for @, and the world was dark.

At this time, his mother came to @side to take care of him, and said something to him that changed @fate again: "@, when hardships come, it will take a long time to surpass them."

Hearing this sentence, @felt that the dark ward was instantly filled with the light of hope and enthusiasm.

Eleven years after hearing her mother's words of encouragement, @owns a company, is a professional commentator, and has written a book: "Miracles Happen". @travels 320,000 kilometers every year to give speeches to audiences of more than 100,000 people. @Also, selected as the 1992 Best Young Entrepreneur of the American Small Business Administration. In 1994, Success magazine named @the greatest disabled person of the year.

Encountered ups and downs and dreams come true, where did all this come from?

Since hearing the words of encouragement from his mother that day, @felt that his body was gradually recovering. He overcame the unimaginable pain of ordinary people and exercised tenaciously. After regaining consciousness in his hands and feet, he began to learn to drive, and a year later he was able to drive again. After six years of tenacious and unremitting exercise, he has been able to take care of himself in life, and he can go where he wants to do what he wants to do again.

A year and a half after the car accident, @is still married to that beautiful girl. In 1992, @'s wife, Delice, was elected Miss Utah, and she participated in Miss America and won the third place. @Now has two children, daughter Rina and son Arthur, who have brought infinite joy to the lives of @couple.

@started his sports career again. He learned to swim and dive. As far as @knows, he was the first quadriplegic to participate in paragliding. @Also, learning to ski, which he believes will not hurt him in any way. He even participated in the ten-kilometer wheelchair race and marathon. On July 10, 1993, @ran more than fifty kilometers from Salt Lake City, Utah to St. George in seven days, the first time in the world for paralyzed patients.

Over the years, @has always remembered his mother's words: when hardships come, transcending them will have a longer aftertaste and be confirmed by practical actions. Therefore, despite his misfortune, his dreams were never shattered by setbacks, but were more firmly rooted in the heart and mind, and rekindled the fire of hope to help him achieve all the seemingly impossible achievements in life.
