Beneath the Sheltering Boughs
With its branches spread wide like open arms, a towering tree provides shade and cover to anybody seeking relief from the intense heat of the sun.
It absorbs the warmth and energy of the sun’s rays throughout the day to support its development and energy.
However, the tree gives itself up in the selfless act of shading others, taking the full sting of the sun’s rays and surviving the heat and bad weather without complaint.
The sacrifice made by the tree serves as a powerful metaphor for deeds of selflessness and kindness in our own lives.
Similar to the tree, a lot of people commit their lives to helping others, frequently at amazing personal risk.
Even at the expense of their own comfort and well-being, they freely donate their time, effort, and resources to help those in need.
