James Connor’s life flashed before his eyes. He recalled the time that he lifted a golden egg on display at the METS Museum in New York. The gala was still going on, people were watching. Nobody paid any attention. A slide of hands, he slipped in the fake and took the real one within one second.

Another time he hid in a bank after closing, ripped off all the safety deposit boxes, and walked out with all the loot when the bank opened in the morning. The security guard opened the door for him as he left. Nobody even realized anything was missing until the next day. They checked the video, but it never caught his face.

Then there was the time when he walked in a car show, got inside a Ferrari LaFerrari, and drove away. Ferrari only made less than 500 of these super cars. All he needed was a jacket and everybody believed that he belonged there. Before they found the car, he was long gone.

But now he met his match. He was injured in ways like never before. He made the worst mistake anyone can make. He tried to steal some candy from a baby.
