It's definitely a white Christmas for Amy. Not long ago, Amy relocated to the United States of America from Canada, and without a doubt and within no time at all, Amy quickly settled in. Yet there was something that did upset Amy, and it was not her job, or any other facet of her life.

Amy is a proud owner of a Siberian Husky called Misty. Misty was known for wanting to run while going out of walks, and for jumping fences. Her luscious white coat felt soft and smooth to the touch. Amy's friends would come over for thanksgiving, and other occasions; and that ball of joy would rub against their skin, and would demand cuddles and walks. Misty is like any feline who prefers the snow, rather than the sun and the grass. She does not like to be dressed up.

Life was going incredibly great, and Amy was enjoying her new job as a Purchasing Clerk. Due to Christmas being a peak time, Amy had to work overtime, and found one dog sitter after another to take care of Misty, from giving her the cuddles and food she needs; right up to brushing her beautiful fur - and of course taking her out for walks on the harness.

Friday afternoon beckons, and there is only a day left until Christmas Eve. Amy had to make hay while the sun shines yet again at work, and is keen to stay back, knowing that she will celebrate her first white Christmas with a few newly made friends, and their families coming over. Glazing the turkey is the least of Amy's worries. Enjoying some mulled wine with her work colleagues, Amy bonds with them unequivocally. Knowing that Misty is in great hands with a certified Siberian Husky sitter; Amy decides to accept the invitation of her work colleagues, and therefore enjoys a bit of ice skating at a nearby skating rink. The crowd is sombre, and skates are available for hire. Resilience is in the air, after snacking on some hot chips and nuts, in addition to having a few drinks.

During this time, Amy's cell phone is vibrating, and Amy was unable to take the call in time. Swirling in circles, reaching for her pocket, Amy falls down onto the ice. Her shins on her bright blue jeans are icy, and there are small patches of ice on her butt. Her work friends come to help her. Amy decides to take a break from ice skating, and goes for a walk with one of her co-workers Jorge, and there they discover a frozen pond that appears to be larger in size that it was a week before. They take it steady, and Amy is still not ready to respond to the voicemail message on her cell phone. Amy is not romantically interested in Jorge, and vice versa. They just enjoy each others company in a platonic way. Suddenly, a slither of ice cracks near Amy's left foot, and she is surprised to see Misty tucked underneath, unsure as to how this could have happened. Did Misty flee from the new sitter? Or was Misty too much? The answer remains a mystery, yet it is amazing to find Misty alive, and she eagerly jumps on both Amy and Jorge, where they are both almost soaking wet, and they hold Misty, crawling their way away from the pond's surface. Jorge is kind enough to sacrifice his jacket, wrapping Misty in, and performs animal CPR on her.

Jorge eagerly volunteers to drive Misty to the vet, and Amy is happy to pay for some gas upon his return home, as her way of saying thank you. The vet immediately wraps Misty in a space blanket, and thankfully she survives the night, and gains her appetite back the next day. The vet was kind enough to drive Misty home the next day, while Amy and Jorge continue to chat. Christmas rolls around, and Amy buys Jorge a Siberian Husky in return, as he suddenly finds this dog breed adorable, and Jorge does the same for her. Now there's triple trouble near that iconic frozen pond! Now that Amy's work has settled down, and she is enjoying her White Christmas; Amy has now sorted out the fencing issues, so that both Siberian Husky's have no reason to ever escape to the frozen ponds ever again. They have company, and a nice crowd for when Jorge comes over with his. Triple trouble at the ponds? Nope, crisis averted for now. Merry (White) Christmas.
