A Meme

They don't know when it started, but almost every modern society had started rejecting science, education was frowned upon, and there was always some minority to blame for when things went wrong.

The red top media had won, in the hands of billionaires and corrupt politicians, the IQ of the electorate had plummeted, and they followed the pictorial edicts that the papers instructed them to do.

Alpacas became more and more common on farms and in petting zoos, but some became infected by ticks that carried a virus (although they had already been infected by the dicks that ran the government and media) that was lethal to humans and once the humans got it, it became airborne.

Because all scientific research and medical facilities had been shut down to funnel money into the pockets of bankers and billionaires, the virus just spread, and the politicians and rich just partied and laughed.

The red tops had a field with headlines at the expense of the dead, not realising that they would not be around much longer.

There was no escape from the virus, and soon humanity was gone, including the politicians, the rich, the bankers and royalty.

Earth's most destructive ever creature was gone, and Earth began to heal.

There were no more wars, no more destruction, no more famine, and the world finally had true peace and happiness.
