Luke followed the echoes of his footsteps around the room. "I like how simple it is. And it's out of the way. Needs a touch-up, but..."

James brushed his fingers over Luke's elbow. Luke didn't know it, but he stood a little taller with that. James said, "But nothing. We can help the women with this."

"I think I can wire us up, the windmill that came with the property..."

"I know: Only so much you can get the word out while keeping quiet about it. We'll have to fight."

"Someone has to."

    This was a nice simple story, but it definitely has my interested peeked as I look for more context. I keep rereading this story, wishing for more from it and trying to anticipate what either happened before or after this scene! Overall, it's really well written!
