Even the blindest of blind men would concur that Ruby Godfrey’s physical beauty had no parallel. Apart from her perfect beauty, she is very arrogant and uncouth when it comes to listening and respecting others, rather she feels they should obey her because of her highly privileged lineage. The powerful Godfrey family that Ruby belong to own and control the enchanted Garden of Kiza in the deep desserts of South Africa. For the days of her life as a child, she was given many riches and consumed only the finest of golds and treasures and the best of the best including anti-oxidant rich fruits, grains and herbs that led her sustaining a comfortable life, although she was highly dependent on her older brother Rasheed, an Enchanter who is heir to the Garden of Kiza.

Rasheed Godfrey is very strong-willed and kind hearted. He is unable to fully put someone under a spell without power from the Enchanter God Tobias but possess many talents and his charismatic personality captured the hearts of men and women alike. The people in the village of Kiza have a genuine love and admiration for him as does the rest of the family.

Ruby’s parents Earl and Clarice Godfrey were elderly and both became severely ill. Ruby is told of her destined birthright that she as a special child with a unique birthmark to find a single magical seed that only she can touch and plant the magical seed in the enchanted garden for an everlasting harvest. For the land of Kiza would be an abundance of Vitamin C to help the body combat illness, heal minor abrasions and cuts in addition to protection from sickness and hunger forever more. Also, fat free fruits and vegetables that are heart and waistline friendly would be for Kiza ever lasting. Ruby would sometimes have visions of the task waiting for her. In the wee hours of the night, Ruby would dream of snake-free gardens and green pastures, flowing with rivers and streams, sweet, colorful live fruits and vegetables gardens. Parasites and spoilage would be non-existent. Hence, it would be like a perfect paradise.

As a girl in her early-to mid-teens, Ruby is a very pretty but spoiled girl. With medium-long dark hair like wool texture, bronze skin, and deep chocolate eyes, her youthful beauty is a very seductive temptation to all men and Rasheed knew this. His natural instinct is to protect both her and her innocence when it came for her to begin her journey outside of Kiza. She dresses in attire that is very revealing, due to Kiza’s fashion appeal which reveal a mature look to her perfectly Coca Cola-shaped body that added to this sexual innocence.

Ruby is, however very aware of her affect on all men and even some women. She desires only the best of the best for this is what she is and always has been accustomed to. Ruby’s young ignorance is typically because of her sheltered life as an heiress being spoiled by all treasures that are presented to people in her social class.

One afternoon, Kiza was admiring a marigold flower when saw a young woman stealing apples from the enchanted garden. Ruby can see that the girl was dressed in rags and sackcloth. She had no shoes on her feet.

“Hey!” Yelled Ruby. The frightened girl dropped the apples and started running. As it is known in Kiza that anyone caught stealing is punishable by law. “No! Wait, please take as many as you like!”

For it was too late and girl was long disappeared. Ruby deeply regretted frightening the girl off. For if only she had pretended she didn’t see anything, the girl would have the apples to eat.

Ruby's quest is to begin at sunrise on the 7th day from the moment her parents became ill. Rasheed will protect her and return her unharmed so that when she returns with her goal accomplished she would rescue her parents. As they set out to begin their travels, Rasheed seeks the help of the Enchanted God Tobias whom Rasheed brings fruits and herbs as a gift in exchange of magic power. Fully equipped they start to make their way to where the seed is hidden. That night as they eat, Ruby expresses an interest in Romance, and describes what her ideal mate would be like. "Personally, I like a sharp jaw, dark hair, and high cheekbones. Usually slender; I like clean-shaven but I think certain sorts of beards can look nice." She giggles, then continues, "I’m a sucker for nice eyes."

"Baby sister, good looks fade. But a good heart keeps you beautiful forever," said Rasheed.

Irritated, Ruby replied. "Well, in Kiza, looks will never fade as I will make sure of it."

Feeling self-assured Ruby knew the power that the enchanted seed would bring and as long as she remained devastatingly beautiful, she would attract any man she set her heart on.

Rasheed on the other hand, only desired righteous women, but to no avail. The land was filled with egotistical and superficial minded people.

The next day, they make their way to an ancient pyramid shaped temple, with the aide of Tobias, Ruby is able to find and obtain the magical seed. It was the color of ruby red and sparkled even without sunlight. What a treasure! Ruby thought. Tobias confirmed, it was in fact the special seed. Guardians of the seed attack the group and Rasheed and Tobias manage to put a powerful spell on the attackers causing them to fall into a deep sleep. Rasheed, having failed previously to put a spell on someone, feels greatly accomplished. He is very grateful and humbled by the power bestowed upon him.

They make their way back to Kiza and is greeted by a very large, enormous crowd. Ruby is overwhelmed with praise and complements. Men bow down before her and one man even passes out; so taken by her beauty. Some women look on; green with envy. Ruby took the enchanted seed and planted it into the soil. Ruby noticed that the gardening tools used to bury the magical seed were also enchanted. The entire ground lit up and for a moment glowed. Within minutes the ground produced a plentiful harvest. Full of all sorts of strawberries, oranges, apples, grapes, tomatoes, thyme, pineapples, grapes, and many many more of the things that will never cease for all days. The harvest is accompanied by great rejoicing and no hard work was required to gather the crops. Rasheed hugs his sister Ruby then leaves to pursue and young lady who catches his attention. Ruby's parents' health instantly showed signs of improvement. They were becoming well. Sickness was no more. Abolished.

"Thank you my beautiful daughter," said Ruby's father embracing her with a kiss and warm hug. Her mother was unable to stand due to her sickness, and greeted her daughter with a smile. For a simple yet elegant touch, a grand, regal chocolate layered cake being is prepared for the ceremony. The cake is enormous, thick rich chocolate topped with ruby red sprinkles that had all the guest inspired and in awe. Anyone who caught sight of the cake began drooling for it. The 10-tier cake was presented on a mini trolley.

"Absolutely magnificent!" Ruby said to the gentleman who presented the cake. Ruby also noticed that the man had violet-colored eyes. Although compelled by his beauty, charm and grace Ruby managed to keep her composure without her overwhelming attraction to the man being so obvious.

"Why thank you!" The gentleman said. "On behalf of all the citizens of Kiza, we are honored. We present with great pleasure this cake as a token of our great appreciation." He then raised his champagne glass in the air and everyone applauded.

"Way to go, little sis!" Shouted Rasheed. The young lady he pursued had later joined him for a dance. It was indeed the most magically enchanted of all evenings in Kiza. Ruby noticed the man who presented the cake was beautiful in way that Ruby has never seen before. She noticed he had a sharp jaw, dark hair, and very high cheekbones. He was also very tall and slender. He was clean-shaven with a small beard. But of course, she had to make her way back to those eyes. His violet-colored eyes were mesmerizing and Ruby was mesmerized. She begins to fantasize about him. As it was a very big celebration with everyone mingling and trying to get Ruby's attention, Ruby found she could not hold a single thought while gazing into his eyes. Ruby finally allowed herself to speak, "What is your name?"

The man started to reply, but was interrupted by a woman, middle aged. She was considered by Ruby to be unattractive. Ruby wouldn't look twice at her. The woman approached Ruby and the man holding a slice of the chocolate cake. "Ruby, I think its only right that you should have the first slice! You are indeed the epitome of beauty! We thank you," the woman said.

Just then, the violet colored eye man spoke, "My name is Amir...and Ruby I want you to meet my wife Lorian, the kindest woman I know," he said. He then turned to kiss his wife.

A heartbroken Ruby fought with every fiber of her being to hold back tears and force herself to smile. For this was a special day.
