A Silent War
Sound doesn't travel in space.
Lights danced in front of Angelica as ships fired and collided with each other like one of those old movies she had seen. Only this time, it was on mute. Her ship has already been destroyed and now she floats aimlessly in the silent vacuum of space, entranced by the greatest battle in the history of humankind. She had been a part of something incredible and had managed to take down two vessels before someone clipped her wings. However, entranced wonder is soon replaced by fear as a beep echoes through her ears signifying the end of her oxygen tank.
