A Rare Desire

The diamond: worth $50,000,000.00. An irresistible prize for a man called Shadow Jack. His plan: simple. Sneak into the heavily guarded museum and swap the diamond for a fake one.

Finally the day is here. The diamond is just within grasp! Just one more door to get through and Jack is set for life. Wait! What’s this? It’s gone! A note: "Nice try, Jack." This had to be Desmond. They were partners but had a falling out. He eyed the two recruits wondering which one tipped Desmond off. Defeated, they grabbed what they could and retreated.

The next day Jack received a letter from Desmond. It was a challenge. Steal a rare artifact from a billionaire’s private collection. The winner gets the diamond. The heist was set for midnight. Jack arrived, ready to face his former partner. As he approached, he realized something was off. Desmond was nowhere to be found, and Jack was instantly surrounded by police.
