A new type of zombie… Bloodletters
I am Bexley (published by Resurgence Novels) for the The Neolomicro Challenge. Definition: an ultra-mutated zombie of unknown origins
If you ever happen to be born in the world of Bexley’s post-apocalyptic nightmarish realm, you will find yourself smack dab in the middle of either domestic zombie paradise (especially if you're zombie elite) or sprinting for your very life. If you are not running, then as a human you must remain in your crowded bunkers and caves. To save your skin and your blood.
Blood.
That's what it means to be human. Your very blood coursing with oxygen through your veins, your DNA and your will to be free and love and fight.
Zombies like Bexley have to skirt the line between safety and fighting for what's right.
And the main thing she and her friends, both human and zombie, have to really look out for is…
Bloodletters.
The way they hunt humans is… advantageous. Cunning. Wild. Systematic. Ritualistic.
Almost as if a evil breed of vampire witch was their mother. Their teeth black and yellow and green, mushy and tongue like a rock. Their skin rotting and pale. Their nails like claws, jagged and bloody. Eyes red and blurred, with shadows and fear darkening their stare.
What in God’s name created these ultra-mutated zombies? Or was it a who? Why do they break all your bones one by one and drain your blood?
Why do they drink your pilfered life-blood mixed with a mysterious fruity elixer, to give them more undead energy and vigor?
No one knows. No one dares to find out, either.
