A Bowl & A Prayer
Thursday 1st May, Day #19, Story #19 - have a Drabble in your eyes.

There's one on every corner. All with beards to their belly-buttons. Even the women. Ribs sticking out for miles.
It's the feet that catch your eye, mainly because you've got your head down. A cracked and empty bowl between them don't look at that don't look don't look no, it's easier to look at the feet, revolting as they are. Sandals barely held together with dirt. Toenails long and yellow, caked in grime.
Don't look up. The desperation in those sunken eyes will ensnare you like a web.
There's a God on every corner and they're all starved of Belief.

Thank you for reading!
AI really didn't want to make this image, until I reassured it that "it's not a real beggar; it's an artist's impression of god". I am planning to try this work around again next time AI is being unhelpful.
See you tomorrow!
