Danjuma was a hunter, while Halima was a trader she sold jewelries and clothes in the market. They were successful in their businesses. For they were well known in the entire village, everyone in that village was of the opinion that Danjuma and Halima had been blessed by Allah with everything anyone could ever wish for. Because they had great possessions and children even though they were only boys at least it shows that Halima is fruitful. Her mother-in-law ones said, but Halima was not satisfied she wished she had a daughter because she felt that a girl will be more helpful than the boys in doing house chores moreover she will be adorned with beautiful clothes and jewelries, oh how i wish i had a beautiful nyarnya, if i had a daughter at least she'll keep my company while I cook, she'll wear beautiful sayings and jewelries, oh how I wish she thought to herself. Halima got pregnant again but she gave birth to another bouncing baby boy, everyone around was happy and they all rejoiced except Halima yarrow again she thought irritated with herself. Her husband Danjuma are so reading her thoughts, said to her Halima Allah has blessed us again with another wonderful child you should accept your faith as the mother of boys perhaps Allah has destined for you to have only boys let's leave it as that, accept our faith and be thankful to Allah. Her husband admonished her not minding her husband's words this matter still disturbed Halima’s mind greatly she took care of her newborn son for some months and once he became stable on his little feet, the thought to have a baby girl came to her mind again. And so out of desperation to have a daughter she consulted a native priest who gave her some herbs and charms but then the priest gave a stunned warning, Woman nine months from now you shall give birth to the daughter you seek but you must remember this you must not choose for her who to marry for when the time is right she shall choose for herself, and when that one comes you must not hesitate to allow her to marry that one, do you agree with this conditional note I agree, I agree just let me have a baby girl as promised. I promised to keep to the agreement fact she replied. In her desperation to have a daughter she couldn't understand that the covenant she was entering into, at the time was a very dangerous one or at least she wasn't bothered about the consequences. for nothing else mattered and so it was that nine months later through to the priest's words.

Eid Al Mubarak provides an opportunity for people to reflect on their blessings
Once upon a time, in a small village nestled in the heart of a lush green valley, lived a young girl named Aisha. Aisha was known for her kind heart and infectious smile. She lived with her parents, Fatima and Ahmed, who worked hard to make ends meet. Despite their humble circumstances, they always managed to celebrate Eid with joy and enthusiasm. Eid was a special time for Aisha and her family. It was a day of happiness and togetherness, a day when they could forget their worries and immerse themselves in the spirit of celebration. The village would come alive with colorful decorations, and the air would be filled with the aroma of delicious food. As Eid approached, Aisha couldn't contain her excitement. She eagerly helped her mother prepare traditional sweets and savory dishes, while her father decorated their small house with strings of twinkling lights. The whole village buzzed with anticipation, as everyone prepared for the festivities. On the day of Eid, Aisha woke up early, her heart filled with joy. She wore her best clothes and hurriedly joined her parents for the morning prayer at the local mosque. The village echoed with the melodious sound of the call to prayer, and the villagers gathered, their faces beaming with happiness. After the prayer, Aisha's family visited the cemetery to pay respects to their loved ones who had passed away. They laid flowers on the graves and recited prayers for their souls. Aisha learned from her parents the importance of remembering and honoring the departed, even on a day of celebration. Returning home, Aisha's eyes sparkled with anticipation as she saw the beautifully laid-out breakfast spread. Her mother had prepared a delectable feast of aromatic biryani, succulent kebabs, and mouthwatering desserts. The family sat together, relishing each morsel, and sharing stories and laughter. As the day unfolded, Aisha's family opened their doors to neighbors and friends, inviting them to join in the festivities. The small house was filled with laughter and chatter, as everyone exchanged warm greetings of "Eid Mubarak." The children played games and shared sweets, while the adults sat together, reminiscing about their childhood memories and catching up on each other's lives. However, amidst the laughter and joy, there was a tinge of sadness in Aisha's heart. She had noticed a young boy named Ali, who lived in the neighboring village, standing alone at the edge of the celebration. Ali was an orphan and had no family to celebrate Eid with. Aisha's empathetic nature couldn't bear to see someone left out on such a special day. Determined to spread happiness, Aisha approached Ali with a warm smile. She invited him to join her family's celebration, assuring him that he was not alone. Ali's eyes widened with surprise, and a faint smile crept onto his face. Grateful for the unexpected invitation, he accepted and accompanied Aisha to her house. As Ali entered the house, he was greeted by Aisha's parents with open arms. They welcomed him as if he were their own, ensuring he felt loved and accepted. The aroma of food wafted through the air, and Ali's stomach rumbled with hunger. Aisha's mother filled a plate with generous portions of food, making sure Ali didn't miss out on the feast. As Ali savored the delicious meal, he couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the warmth and kindness he had encountered. He had never experienced such a sense of belonging before. Aisha's family embraced him, not as a stranger, but as a cherished guest, and in that moment, Ali realized the true spirit of Eid. Throughout the day, Aisha, Ali, and her family continued to celebrate, their Eid Al Mubarak.

I have hope for humanity thanks to the Grimace Shake Moment of 2023 (and for companies).
The Grimace Shake gives me faith in people. Prior to pursuing a journalism degree, I had never used Twitter. I was uninterested. Since I didn't realize how much current political news was being posted there, I didn't really get the attractiveness of the microblog. If you don't spend a lot of time online, you might share my opinion that Twitter is inherently evil and distorts reality by promoting the mosBefore studying journalismBefore studying journalismt contentious viewpoints.
