Making Money From Home As A Stay-At-Home Mom

My name is Cambrea. I’m a stay at home mamma to two under two. I’ve been searching for ways to make a living from home since I had my first son two years ago. I’ve tried the whole list of ways such as surveys, games, creating journals, etc with no success.

I came across this video on TikTok of a woman saying she has made six figures in a matter of a few months doing something called Affiliate Marketing, all online from home. I totally thought SCAM as soon as I saw that. I saw many more videos alike.

I decided to look into it myself since I didn’t have anything to lose and I was tired of being broke, living check to check. I was surprised to find out that people are really making these amounts of money doing this so called affiliate marketing. I decided to take action right away since I knew nothing about it or where to even begin. I decided to take an affiliate marketing course to expand my knowledge. I found that there are many scams and fishy websites, but I came across one in particular led by an eight figure market affiliate himself. It cost less than a Starbucks coffee so I took that leap of faith and purchased it. I went in with low expectations considering how low the price was.

Boy was I wrong! This course changed my entire perspective and taught me everything I needed to know to succeed with my own business and the exact steps on how to get started with affiliate marketing. I’m creating this blog to hopefully help out someone like me, who thought making money from home was hopeless. Let me tell you a little about affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is a performance-based marketing strategy where an affiliate (the promoter) promotes another company's products or services and earns a commission on each sale or action that is generated through their efforts. The company that provides the products or services is referred to as the merchant or advertiser.

In affiliate marketing, the affiliate typically has a unique affiliate link or promo code that they can share with their audience, such as on their website, blog, or social media channels. When someone clicks on their affiliate link or uses their promo code to make a purchase, the affiliate earns a commission on the sale.The commission rate can vary depending on the specific affiliate program, but it's typically a percentage of the sale value. Some affiliate programs may also offer a flat fee per action, such as per lead or per click.

To get started with affiliate marketing, an affiliate can apply to join an affiliate program or network, or they can reach out to a merchant irectly to establish an affiliate relationship. The key to success in affiliate marketing is to choose products or services that are a good fit for your audience and to promote them in a way that is authentic and adds value to your audience.
