Flittering Stars

For any new stars in the sky

In memory of those we've lost, whether we knew them or not, remember them or not. They are stars in the skies. Glittering above, shinning within the dark, lighting up within a constant grief that was left behind. In their wake, we look for a new way to see them, remember them. The stars that flitter in the sky is where we look. Guiding the curiosity and wonderment of children while fulfilling the solemn and sadly sweet memories of those below.

In memory of those we've lost, whether we knew them or not, remember them or not. Whether they are new or old- They are all stars within the skies.

It is the collections of stars that flutter in the sky. Throughout the constellation families, sitting atop, along, and within. Families like Ursa Major, Zodiac, and Perseus. Spreading all throughout to Hercules, Orion, Bayer, Lacaille and even dipping in the Heavenly Waters. Sitting upon stars making certain their glow is as bright as it could be. To shine and shine, and remind us where it to look.

Within the memories of others, shared by stories told but still all the same missed. Cherished by secondhand memories and wonderment. The sadly sweet sense was filled by the words passed on in others' voices. As the sun sets and the moon begins to peak we can't wait, but to think here they come once again. It is the collections of stars that flutter in the sky.

We gaze up and think, oh we think of their smile, their laugh, the words they uttered before they fluttered above with the stars. When they were like us, and we shared common ground. When before we barely thought fleeting of them, or to others they consumed our every waking gaze. As the sun sets and the moon begins to peak we can't wait, but to think here they come once again. Sadly sweet and solemn memories. Dreams of you and me when we finally and once again meet. Looking up at the collections of stars that flutter in the sky.

For us to walk hand and hand. We will never forget the footsteps you left in your wake. The impressions you made, the way you lived and loved, are exactly why you are now alive and shinning above with the stars. Though we may be sad now, and every time in the future when we pass here. We will think in the back of what was. When we subtly celebrate your birth, you will not age, forever in our minds the way you were. Forever so young.

Every present with the stars. Waiting for the night sky to rain down your memories, your wonderment, and fulfilling thought. We never lost you entirely, a piece of you forever with us. In memory and in our hearts. Like the stars of Orion, Zodiac, and every other, the light-emitting is eternal. Forever reaching our eyes, and the hearts of those around us. It will continue to reach us till long after we have come and gone, just as stars do.

Now and always, we will look at the night sky, at the shining stars. We think of the memories we have of you. When they were like us, and we shared common ground. When before we barely thought fleeting of them, or to others they consumed our every waking gaze. The way you smiled, the way you laughed. The way you loved, the way you lived. We gaze deeply into the everlasting night sky, letting the light of the stars illuminate our memories. In our dreams and sadly sweet memories, we will say hello again. All within the collections of stars that flutter in the sky.
