Fathers are not second hand parents

Children in this world are beautiful and magnificent, they are the inspiration and hope of this world. As more and more are born each day of every hour, it's also more that is lost. Our court system helps those parents in need of a family arrangement; family court. At a certain age, there is a time when a child who becomes a teen can then choose who they want to live with. That teen can choose father, mother, aunt, uncle, or even grandparents to such decision, and even though each parent thinks they are entitled to have custody or even share custody of the child what they don't understand is at a certain time and age that choice is now the kids choice.

Some kids choose moms and think living with the person who gave birth to them is the best option. Then, there are others who think to live with the fathers are the best thing for them, it is what I call a, ''fifty chance''. No one parent is entitled to their kid, their child is not property, they are not something you flip a coin over on who gets who and what. What some parents don't understand these days is what you think is best for your kid isn't always but instead best for you. When a baby is born the mother is the one with the bonding touch, the time spent to get an attachment, mothers go through every step told to them to connect to their baby but without a second thought of what the father should do. Just as much a mother has the right to do what she pleases with the child so does the father.

Family courts are for one reason and one reason only; for the well-being of the child, to protect and make sure the child is in good health. I will admit our court system is not the best, and not always is right but it does indeed get the job done. Mothers are the first person to be looked at because just as they carried the child in the womb for many months those in court do not see the difference in taking care of the child in the real world just the same. Clothing, feeding, changing, bathing, and teaching the child of rights and wrong of this world are what parents are supposed to do. Mothers are not only one who is the best fit and child provider for the child, but in some cases, fathers are sometimes the best.

In the eyes of the government, if one parent does not have full legal custody through the courts of one custodial parent then the other acting parent is legally allowed to take the child, spend time with the child and do what she/he pleases. In certain circumstances the mother isn't always the right person, no one knows really who is the best parent but the mother isn't always. Fathers have just the right just like the mother, and sometimes they are the best decision for the child to be with. People always say the grass isn't always greener on the other side and to be honest it is not, there are always two sides and I promise the side of the mother because they gave birth to you isn't always the best, fathers are just the same as mothers.

Every girl needs her mother and every boy needs a dad but what people forget is every baby, child, kid, and teen need love and need comfort with a home. Sometimes you have to put your needs aside and think about the children and what's best for them, and if living with the father is the best thing then it is not a lose it is a win-win because at least you have one parent who cares and want you, which is better than the foster care system to have you. Fathers can be heroes and mothers too, they can be strong and passionate and when you really need them they can make sure your heart is never broken. A mother can be just that and a dad so why can't a father be just that and a mom too? Fathers have equal rights to their kids, they are not the second hand and any less than the mother but sometimes in society, they are more than the women who gave birth to them because they stayed while the mother left and abandoned but it seems like no one ever notices that but just for the men's mistakes and what the mother makes it out to be. A mother, father whichever or, they equal out not one cancels each other out, no father is less than the mother and the grass isn't always greener on the other side.
